This is a nice little restaurant. The food is preprepared (hence the express in their name). 1 of the 3 main courses we got was a little aged but still bearable and all 3 had good flavor. The price was very fair. If you want a quick bite, go her. The lo mein was very nice.

I knew this restaurant was going to be great when I saw the faded menu signs. And I was right, the walnut shrimp and fried rice was amazing. The restrooms were clean and stocked. Overall, 5/5 one of the best chinese restaurants I’ve been to.

This food had no flavor!!! Disappointing to say the least. See pics below ⬇️ First, the fried rice was bland and it tasted like chicken broth. I asked if all the chicken entrees were made with white meat? and the man behind the counter pointed to the mushroom chicken and curry chicken potatoes, I guess he me meant these were the only 2 made with white meat? I don’t care for dark chicken meat it’s just my preference that’s the reason I asked. So it really limited my options down to two. I went with the mushroom chicken and BBQ pork and fried rice. The mushroom were big chunks I don’t care for that and the dish had no flavor it was just bland. The BBQ pork tasted almost like it had a fishy flavor to it? The pictures on the front window didn’t look anything like the food at all. The food was as luke warm and not hot. In temperature or flavor. I had to put soy sauce on the fried rice and their version of Sriracha sauce on the entrees. I only ate half and threw out the rest in the garbage. The size of the styrofoam box was tiny! So small! Even Panda Express’ box is bigger and that says something. Overall it was poor quality and I will never go back. I only went to that restaurant because my friend was driving and he said the food was really good. What he calls good it’s definitely different than what I think is good. I have had good Chinese food in San Francisco at the Empress of China and Tao Tao in Sunnyvale, California and this was definitely not good. Not even close to “good”.

The food was acceptable, but would have been better if it was fresher and hot. The dining area of the restaurant was relatively clean, but there were harder to reach areas that were visibly dirty. Service was also acceptable, no major complaints there, but it was the bare minimum.

I know you are looking to see if this place is better than Panda Express. IT 110% IS. I used to go there all the time when I was in high school. It’s way more traditional and flavorful than Panda, yet manages to keep its fast food feel. The Great Wall EXPERIENCE offers SO much more for the same prices.

The walnut shrimp were to die for! They were so crisp and flavorful! I was shocked at the quality.

Worst I’ve ever had. Everything tasted like fish and sesame oil. No shrimp or walnuts in the walnut shrimp. The rice was similar to uncle Ben’s minute rice that was overcooked and spam chunks. The noodles tasted like fish and were dry. Beef and broccoli tasted like fish. General tso and orange chicken tasted the same and was very soggy. Food was room temperature and my fortune cookie said I was gonna turn into a vegan. THE WORST!

Owners are very nice, food is good it’s our go to locally for Chinese food. Good portions for the price and worth a visit. We typically get take out, however the environment is nice to sit down and stay.

Really good for a quick bite to eat. Kind of like panda Express but a lot better. Sesame chicken with lo mein was my favorite dish.
