Was hungy today while up in the Mechanicsburg area. Decided to treat my daughter and myself to Chinese lunch. My daughter said it was the best Chinese food she’s had in a very long time. My food was excellent as well. I got hot and sour soup and it was fantastic. My nose ran and eyes watered. Exactly what you want from hot and sour soup.

We have been going there for years. We always enjoyed their food until today. We ordered steamed mixed vegetables with chicken. Brought the food home, and started picking off some of the broccoli, and noticed it was 99% broccoli with no chicken. Ok I can forgive a language snafu with the chicken, but the title is mixed vegetables not 99% broccoli. Time to find a new restaurant.

Generally liked this place 20+ times…and understand Christmas Eve will be busy. But it took an hour and 45 minutes to get our order….Uber driver waited in store for 50 minutes to even get the food…’lost ticket’. Once received, food was not as described…at all. No pork in the pork egg rolls or pork fried rice. Beef and snow peas was beef and mixed vegetables. Large Wonton soup was 75% soup. And they obviously dont pay attention to comments on orders…asked for extra duck sauce (12) and no soy sauce. Got 3 of each. Something has changed…won’t be back. Happy to add pics of the food if I was able after the fact

Best place for takeout, hands down. I’ve been going here for literally 17 years, and I’ve never been disappointed with my food. Not once. I recently found out from her sister, that the woman who I’ve always seen at the front counter has retired. And I just want to say thank you for all the times you’ve packaged up me and my family’s food, taken our orders, and delivered to our house. You always did so with a smile and a cheerful demeanor. You will be missed, and I hope you have a great retirement! (Hope she see this!)

Had the Spare Ribs Combination Meal and a small Hot & Sour Soup. Ribs were moist and tasty, the fried rice was solid, and the Hot & Sour had some veggies in it that gave it a crunch and a fresh taste. Scarfed it all down. Even the egg roll was top-notch! Wish I’d asked for a package of crispy noodles for the soup, but I would have just eaten them, too!

General tso chicken was uneatable – not suitable for dog food. Grub hub refunded 14 bucks for the meal. The rice wasn’t half bad. If I should die tonight.

Ordered Fried Shrimp. Pic and description was of 12 butterfly shrimp in panko. I got a small box of battered baby shrimp.
Shrimp Eggroll price went up and it only has 2 baby shrimp in it now. They changed the entree containers a while ago to put everything in 1 container instead of putting the rice separately. You use to get a small rice container and then a larger container with the beef and broccoli or whatever. Now since it’s all together it’s mostly rice. And of course it’s more expensive. I guess they are just following the trend that others are following.

General Tso’s was as expected … Shrimp fried rice was 80% onion, don’t mind onion but the amount was overwhelming. Ordered a side of fried noodles that were 1/4 the size you get anywhere else. Won’t be ordering from here again.
