Nestled inside the Short pump Mall… It’s a two in one store that provides a smoothie shop (Surf City Squeeze )and a good steak and cheese sub/ hoagie (Great Steak).. small dine in area has a bistro vibe… Nice view of the mall and a feel of a rooftop restaurant vibe .. due to the way the mall is made .. so it’s on the 2nd floor of the mall … The service here is quite wonderful… very polite and helpful staff… The prices are reasonable for the area… Short pump can be on the bougie side of the road lol … But overall a good spot for a quick bite or a refreshing smoothie….

Sometimes I randomly want a cheesesteak, and this place hits the spot. There’s something about their bread that tastes almost fake but it’s still delicious. I wish they care more about the clean. This place is such a small place but there was food on the table and floors. I had to clean it before eat.

Fries were soggy and oily, the cheese steaks had minimal meat in them and the bread quality and crunch was par at best. The counter and condiment section was messy so it speaks of how the kitchen must be. Had to air fried my fries at home to crispy them up. Oh yeah the guy at the counter said if we wanted a lid on our drinks we had to order a large cup since medium cups did not have lids, I came up with a bright idea we get the large cups and just fill it to medium size, to be honest he should’ve just given us a courtesy large since they ran out of medium lids for takeout. Oh yeah, it was pricey too for the quality…

The mediocre sustenance is okay for a quick on the go mall run. Cleanliness is seriously lacking. The fries are ‘meh’ at best.
The A/C return is brown with some disgusting residue (see photo). It begs to question as to whether or not the food prep area is sanitary. What are your thoughts?

Their Large Gyro is fabulously delicious (+fries filled me and my wife). Best food I’ve tasted out and about in a good while. Reasonable $$ and portions as well. 2nd time eating here.

My 8″ cheesesteak was less than 7″. Yes I measured it. It was more like a sausage roll. The “small” fries were “tiny”. NEVER EVER AGAIN. FIRST & LAST.

I first went here during my freshman year of high school in the cold spring of 2018 (March, to be specific). There was a server here who appearantly worked in Italy before coming here & me and him had a really good conversation after I asked if the food was halal (it is, +1 star!!). If you out there, you my homeboy fr. May Allah bless you with goodness!
Anyways, the food is alright & the service has always been decent. I usually like this place because of the great nostalgia it brings, but its a restaurant that is worth trying.
Edit: I went there recently and they removed the chili cheese fries. That’s the only reason I cared about this place. Removed 3 stars!
