The bread was fresh and soft, the meats were flavorful without being too saturated, and all the fixings added to the experience created by the former aspects.
The staff they employ has always been kind, respectful, and well informed. Even if they do not immediately know the answer, they find it out and do so with a smile on their face. It really speaks volumes to not only employ quality ingredients in your business but people as well.
Considering they had little to no notice, they met my expectations and then exceeded it. Food was ready, waiting, and carried out to my car.
Extremely grateful and satisfied with the entire experience.
Ps, the way the pickle was wrapped with my sandwich! Why have I never seen this before haha. It’s great 🙂
This is catered towards women. The men that do come here I’ve seen show up with their wife. Definitely not a guy’s choice to come here.
The prices of their pastries and bread a little bit more for my liking. This is the new world and prices are up up but I don’t have to pay them.
The coffee was good. Nothing great or spectacular. I was hoping for a good cup of coffee but it was just good. They’re offerings for creamers was just milk. It would have been nice to have an option here. I’m not a fan of open and sugar a packets.
Overall this place is okay. If you was in the area doing business I could see just coming here. But I would not make a point of driving here.
I love that when you first approached the counter there’s a board with different items for you to sample before placing your order. I was able to try a chocolate chip pumpkin bread that I know I’m going to be ordering in the future.
So excited!
Atmosphere – relaxed and cozy.
Staff is friendly, caring, helpful and overall seem very happy.
They really do offer very large samples. We were able to try the pumpkin chocolate chip muffin (10/10. Not overly sweet, very soft, perfectly spiced), the blueberry scone (9/10. It’s nicely sweetened and differing from a typical scone; it is not dry and can be eaten with or without a hot drink), and a snickerdoodle cookie (7/10 we are not huge snickerdoodle people, it was on the less baked side but not undercooked). We started munching on these and forgot about pics. We only photographed 1/3 of the scone sample and none of the snickerdoodle. The only reason we had some muffin left is because we actually bought a whole one after sampling.
Sandwiches – we got a ham, egg and cheese on whole wheat, an egg and cheddar with garlic herb sauce on whole wheat and a turkey and cheddar on the Dakota bread (multi-grain). The fillings are exactly what you expect them to taste like. The bread is what makes the difference. It is dense in texture but the mouth feel is soft and lightly chewy. The whole wheat was toasted and had a crunch. The Dakota bread was not toasted. The sandwiches are a perfect portion. At first glance the sandwich looks on the smaller side and so you may wonder can you get full from it? The answer is yes, that may be due to the fact that being made with great ingredients it is more nutrient dense. The bread to filling ratio works! If you are looking for that pillowy soft bread you won’t find that here and I’m glad for that because they aren’t using dough conditioners. It is simple, clean and few ingredients. 8/10 for all the sandwiches.
The coffee – I like it simple with just coffee and cream (ok extra cream) it has an ever so slight bitterness to it. It is a good, smooth cup of coffee. The youngin likes the sweeter drinks and got a hot mocha. It was not too sweet, very much made to let the flavor of the coffee shine yet not be overpowering. The youngin appreciated the level of sweetness and says 7/10 because we forgot to order it iced for her.
To top it off, I feel the generosity of giving a whole free sandwich or a loaf just for signing up for the rewards is a big deal. We are signed up and look forward to coming back!
