Came here the other day and had a bacon cheeseburger that was phenomenal. Thought it was a fluke, so came back a couple days later to verify.

I really wanted to love this place. The young lady who took our order was super cool — honestly the highlight of the visit. I was excited to support a small local business, but things went downhill fast.
Right before our food was made, another lady started sneezing into her hands (not once, not twice… we’re talking a full-on nasty) and then started to touching things and prepare our order. My appetite went out the window immediately. We were too scared to eat the food and didn’t eat much at all and the poor Sunday is just sitting there ready for the trash a day later.
The cashier stepped in and made our order herself, which I appreciated — but by then, the damage was done. My SPLIT didn’t stand a chance. No lid, the rain got to it, cookie crumbs landed where they shouldn’t have….
Bottom line: great attitude from the cashier, but please — for the love of ice cream and public health — teach your team to wash their hands after sneezing and put a lid on it. That’s just basic clean-up 101.

We had been very curious about this place. There is a lot going on inside. Lots of items you would find in a gift shop, puzzles, games, t-shirts, and ice cream bowls with your name. There is a grill menu and ice cream by the scoop, milkshake, soft serve, donut sundae, or donut ice cream sandwich. The inside could use a good cleaning and revamping. The burger was recommended, and it was great with steak fries and a drink for just over 8 bucks.

As said before, the food was exceptional. The burgers, while cooked well-done, were juicy, with a crispy sear on the outside. The fresh veggies, toasted buns, and patty sizes were notable.
The fries were cooked well, had just enough seasoning, and a HEFTY amount of cheese sauce. The cheese sauce itself was pretty good, but the quality of it wasn’t quite there (though for the price, this is reasonable).
The vanilla cone was flavorful, comparable to Dairy Queen. The small cone was huge, the sprinkles weren’t skimped on, and the staff conveniently put it in a plastic drip protector to well…avoid dripping.
The strawberry shake was amazing, it wasn’t overly sweet and even had real strawberries. However, I do wish it came with a wider straw, the strawberry chunks kept blocking the straw.

The staff was extremely friendly; we were welcomed upon entry, and they were patient despite us taking almost 5 minutes to look over the menu. The order was taken correctly, the food was prepared correctly, and it took less than 15 minutes to get the food out to us.
They were quite accommodating; they were more than happy to get me extra mayo for my burger when I asked for it and they offered to wait on preparing the ice cream until we were done with the meal.

It’s an inviting, family oriented, late 20th century style ice cream parlor, that feels no less than home when you walk through the door.
As another review stated, there was excessive signage and arguably too much stuff in the dining area (ex. claw machine). There are large, beautiful, open windows, though I wish we could see in and out of them without obstruction.
We didn’t sit outdoors, but there is outdoor seating that looked well taken care of.

So cute!! The burgers were great, fresh with a little crisp, and not too big. Cake doughnuts, so fresh! The atmosphere is cute and beach side. Not a ton of seating, but perfect for take out of a little visit! Loved it!

Nice little donut, hamburger, and ice cream counter housed in the former Dairy Queen building. Ice cream and donut flavors are unique and made in house. Donuts are all made fresh per order, so it takes a little longer than what you might be used too. We got dinner and dessert. Feeding a family of 4 ran us around $38, so not exactly cheap. The kids split an adult chicken tender basket, whilst me and the wife both got cheeseburger combos. All combos come with steak fries and a drink (no refills on soda because of Corona). My wife ordered a small strawberry milkshake, the kids got a large order of donuts (4 total = 2 naked, 2 chocolate sprinkled), and I got a donut ice cream sandwich ($5.99). The donut ice cream sandwich is a choose your donuts and ice cream type deal. I went with the maple bacon glazed donut and the brown butter bourbon truffle ice cream. Everything was delicious.

One of the BEST places around. Not only is the food amazing, the customer service is better than I’ve seen anywhere in the 757 area! Whatever training the owner used to train these kids should be shared county wide! I will always be a fan of DOAS!!! Go, you won’t be disappointed! The dessert is a BONUS!

I go to Langley Speedway often and today I found this to be 6 minutes down the road. Brought my children and got ice cream and donuts. The donut sundae was awesome. The staff was very nice and fun to deal with. After my visit here this is now my new spot to hit up before or after an event. Glad this is here and hope it stays around for a long time.
