It was fresh and yummy! I had a half sandwich and I should have ordered the full. It was smaller then I expected but so good! They gave us a huge sample of the Snickerdoodle and Pumpkin Chocolate Chip bread and they were very good! I bought cookies and cream cookies and brownies. Overall I’ll be coming back. The bakery staff was very friendly and nice.

The last GHBC I visited was in Evansville and it was years ago. Today, I ordered the muffuletta and bought a loaf of snickerdoodle dessert bread. Without question the best hot sandwich I’ve had in a long while. The ingredients were fresh and the bread was soft and savory. 10/10 will be back on future trips to Owensboro.
