This bakery was a treat! I was expecting more cafe style, but upon walking in, when I smelled the yeasty smell, I realized this was more than a cafe.
I ordered a breakfast sandwich and a latte. The coffee was underwhelming. It was okay, but the sandwich was great! The bread was fresh and tasted almost like my mom’s homemade wheat bread.
If you’re going to this place, plan on eating some sort of bread- you won’t be disappointed.
Some cafes do coffee and serve sandwiches for extra business. This place sells sandwiches and serves coffee on the side.
The interior is nice and fresh. Not overly filled with things, but tastefully decorated.

Common Sense
The service was the worst. The individual taking the orders was having a hard time hearing or couldn’t understand us. And when she did finally understand what we were saying we could nearly hear what she was saying. She spoke like an infant, she spoke so low I had to bend over the glass to hear her. I ordered the Spiced apple bacon grilled cheese and chicken dumpling soup. My wife had a turkey and cheese sandwich. The food was not good. First due to the lack of communication we couldn’t ask for a description or the ingredients in the sandwiches. I thought was ordering a spicy apple smoked bacon grilled cheese sandwich, but it was actually apple slices with bacon and grilled cheese. The chicken dumpling was edible after adding some seasoning and crackers. My wife’s turkey sandwich was so dry that she couldn’t eat it. We both ended up tossing the sandwiches but I ate about half of the soup.

This is a newly opened bakery and cafe in Menomonee Falls. I was invited to the soft opening on 11/13.
The place is very nice. My daughter says that the ambiance reminds her of fall; which is apt!
We got the sandwiches off the menu (Baja was very good!). The blueberry scone is also particularly scrumptious!
And the best part is that they make the bread fresh!!

Great Harvest never disappoints! Paul, the owner, is incredibly welcoming and friendly every time we stop in. He and his team create such a warm, inviting atmosphere. We’ve always had fantastic service, and the food and coffee are consistently great!
We ordered lunch for our office team today, and Gaby was so helpful and friendly while taking our pickup order. The lunch was delicious and enjoyed by everyone. We also love their coffee and always look forward to stopping in. Highly recommend!

I stopped there twice today. I thought they had some jalapeno garlic cheddar bread. When I got there. It was pretty early and it wasn’t done cooking yet so I said to come back after my appointment.
However, that my first stop today they had a gouda Stout beer bread that was on their day-old shelf, which was more fluffy than most bread I normally get. Super good deal on that rack! Picked up a loaf of that right away and I started eating the car. It was delicious. They told me they get the stout from the brewery through space Brewery next door. It was so delicious. On my way back to Milwaukee I stopped to pick up the cheddar garlic loaf and thankfully they still had it because I was there later than I expected.
Bottle off of that and then they still had some cinnamon chip bread from the same rack from this morning from the yesterday favorites. Super discounted. Got to check it out. You would never know it’s not from the same day!
Staff super super nice. Started picking out those breads on my way and my parents because that’s way too much bread for me to eat all by myself. So my parents saw the bread. They tasted all three of them while I was still at their house. I said take what you want. Thank goodness they did because I cannot eat all that.
My dad is 80 years old and grew up on a dairy farm. He just said I can taste the gouda in that Stout bread which is super awesome and they love all the breads and my mom took extra of the cinnamon chip spicy stuff’s really not their thing which I’m happy because I got to keep more of that. I can’t wait to go back there! They had a sun-dried tomato and swiss cheese bread today that I might even drive up there tomorrow to see if they have any left over because I can’t wait to try that ❤️ Additionally, when I was there when the other bread I wanted wasn’t done cooking. The cookies/sweet/pastries are yummy! I was really excited to be able to buy local, freshly made bread. However I’ve tried both the farmhouse white and honey wheat two times now, and the bread is so dense, its a bit overwhelming. I don’t enjoy using it for sandwiches, only for like toast

Bought a loaf of Honey Whole Wheat bread. The loaf was about 8 inches long and weighed over 2 pound – very heavy and moist. Texture is very dense; the color was very dark tan. The bread does not really toast very well after two cycles in toaster. The bread is very chewy, and overwhelms any sandwich fillings such as ham/cheese, or peanut butter and jelly.
The Cafe is small having approximately 8 tables and a coffee bar, and smells amazing.
The staff is very friendly, welcoming and prompt.

Great Harvest is a wonderful bakery addition to the Menomonee Falls area. I ordered a Baja Chipotle Turkey sandwich as well as a Cinnamon Chip loaf of bread.
The sandwich had fresh ingredients and was full of flavor. The Cinnamon Chip bread tasted like a cinnamon roll and was gone in about a day at my house!
There are some tables for seating and the ambiance of the bakery is very welcoming.
Needless to say, I’ll be back soon!
