Best restaurant in Reno, best staff, freshest organic ingredients, undefeated vibes.

There’s something for everyone at Great Full Gardens, from health nuts to meat eaters. Literally every time I come in, the music is a mood, and it’s always just the right one. The place is clean and bright and welcoming.

We first visited Great Full Gardens when we were in Reno for vacation in April 2025. As someone with food allergies and celiac, it’s the kind of restaurant I dream about. When my husband proposed relocating to Reno from the Bay Area, Great Full was a big selling point. We moved here in September 2025. Reno has everything we love, including this special spot, where you’ll find us 1-2/week, minimum! As of March 2026, we’ve eaten at Great Full at least 50 times, always with great service, and I’ve never been “glutened,” as they take great care with food handling.

You already know from the zillion reviews that the food is fresh, tasty, and healthy. It’s rare to find a restaurant that serves high quality organic food, and knows how to cook it properly. My faves are the frittata for breakfast, the warm kale salad or Bismarck Pizza for lunch, and Vatapa for dinner. The ahi tuna as an appetizer, or an add on to a salad is an entree sized dish, well priced and is incredible with the sesame crust and wasabi mayo. They have wonderful soups by Gino The Soup Man that you also buy frozen there, or at Whole Foods. Oh, and don’t miss the dessert cups, to die for!

What makes Great Full Gardens even more special is the staff. Everyone we meet seems happy to be there. Love and care goes into the food, and the way customers are treated. I have no doubt that the positive culture starts at the top.

At the midtown location, we’ve had outstanding service multiple times by Jack, Chelsea and Kay, and most often by Tracy, who’s kind of the heartbeat of the whole place, and makes us feel like part of the family. We love Tracy’s sense of humor and attention to detail. I think he’s been working here since they first opened, or close to it. Tracy, and the whole team are top notch, and always take care of us. Side note, thanks to the chefs for all my special requests!

A big thank you to all the wonderful people that make this place hum. Great Full is a second home for us, and we hope they continue to have great success. I give them my highest recommendation.

The Aztec moca is out of this world! I can be coming back to Rino just to the Great Full Gardens. The staff was very friendly and attentive.

As someone who has been mostly eating clean and cooking for myself over the past year it was quite satisfying to come to Great Full Gardens while in town for a friend’s wedding. The portions were excellent and I appreciated that they had many options to cater to different dietary restrictions. I highly recommend you check this place out!

Been coming here for years I am a sucker for the vegan rueben sandwich!! Best on the market if you ask me, been up and down california and can’t find anything that comes close! I am writing this review though because they recently changed the sandwich, I personally liked it better when they didn’t add pickles in the sandwich but give them on the side, they have delicious pickles!! Also, seems like they changed the aioli sauce, it use to be a little thicker now it is super runny and gets all over your fingers and it never did that before…please bring back the old sandwich, I know these are simple things but this is what has made me be a loyal customer for years!

We absolutely love this place and go often — it’s one of those rare spots that works for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and never disappoints. The farm-fresh ingredients truly make a difference, and everything tastes vibrant and thoughtfully prepared.

It’s also incredibly kid-friendly, which makes it an easy yes for our family. The menu has something for everyone, and service is always warm and welcoming across multiple locations.

The Harvest Bowl is a standout — fresh, flavorful, and perfectly balanced. I’ve also ordered the soba noodles with teriyaki salmon more than once and they’re consistently delicious. And whatever you do, save room for the chai cookie à la mode — you won’t regret it. It’s the perfect ending to a great meal.

It took me awhile to go to Grateful Gardens because I thought it was strictly vegan. Not only was I wrong boy have I been missing out. Jack provided world-class customer service and really helped. The food was not only amazing it is now my favorite place to eat. I don’t know if it could get better. You must try this restaurant if you have not.

this is our go to breakfast spot whenever we’re in reno. with an extensive menu catering to vegans, vegetarians or not, great full gardens has something for anyone who’s looking for a delicious and healthier fresh meal. i’m a fan of the paleo breakfast bowl, and the liege waffles are always a hit with the kids. there’s an assortment of cookies/treats you can grab from a to go case as well. lots of seating inside with a few tables outside facing the parking lot. service is always friendly and efficient, and included a juggling show for our kids during our last visit!

Despite having a group of 5, we were able to get a table without a wait on two separate visits. Both times this place was packed and I can see why. The menu is large and has a lot of vegan options. Thank goodness! Reno actually had more vegan places than I thought it would, but this place was so good we had to come back.

On our first visit I ordered the vegan nachos. They were awesome, I forgot to snap a photo before they disappeared. I thought about getting them again the second time, but this V.B.R. pizza looked great. It absolutely was. Trying to save some for leftovers was tough. Next morning cold pizza was fantastic and definitely worth it.

If y’all are thinking about opening in Portland, Oregon. Let me know.
