Absolutely amazing place and even more amazing people! Have been shopping here since it opened and will never go back to big chain wine stores. Steve and, Patrick before, and their team welcome you like family and will really get to know you, your tastes and dislikes and will remember it and will offer you new wines that match those tastes. Their cheese selection is also great and so are their wine tastings on weekends where you will often meet the winemaker or distributor. While their selection might be smaller than the big box stores who claim to have more, The Wine Outlet has way more in diversity of wine, hands down better pricing, way more knowledgeable and helpful team and a vibe of going to a “friends place” for gathering!! They will also happily order something that they may not carry if available in the state!

We are a couple of pretty label shoppers, so I love how knowledgeable they are. Very helpful. Such great service. Great wines! And their cheese/sausage selection is delicious too.

Louis and team have put together a fantastic, personalized experience! The wine tasting was sublime, with interesting descriptions from a knowledgeable and pleasant person from the distributor. We bought several bottles of great wine at prices much lower than other stores in the area. They also sell beer, cheeses, and meat. Louis helps you find a wine you will enjoy at a good price. Highly recommended!

They are the only store in the DMV area (within my 40 mile radius) that carries the New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc that I like, ALOT! I will always stock up when I go. They also carry great reds and rosé’s. AND they have fabulous tasting events.

Nice selection of wines, tastings are available, and the friendly knowledgeable service was appreciated. The prices can’t be beat. We went to Mookie’s Barbecue for lunch after visiting Great Falls National Park, then stocked up on wine! I’m going to cancel our wine club and go here instead.
