Great sandwiches w nice staff but this cafe w great location, needs to take it up a notch. Coffee bar is sad w powdered creamer, no stirrer sticks and so so coffee. Decor is very 80s and bathroom could use some sprucing up. These are not expensive updates and sweet lady working behind counter could benefit from a bit of help.

Excellent menu! Fresh ingredients! The proprietor/chef is wonderful! Today, I had the Oriental Chicken Salad. WHAT A TREAT. Best salad ever! I’m working my way through the menu. In-between each new choice I will have my fave sandwich; THE RUEBEN! You cannot go wrong here, just GO and try it, no disappointments here!

Great Day Cafe in Ocean Park was a great place to have a most enjoyable lunch! Yummy food and the friendly owner and chef made us feel right at home. We can hardly wait to go back. Steve’s clam chowder is the BEST! And I’ve never had a BLT that also included 2 kinds of cheese. Biting into the grilled sour dough was quite a taste treat. Go any time you have the opportunity! You’ll be glad you did!
