Hate to leave a bad review for a local place but here are the facts: we ordered a drink each and dinner each. Perch dinner was fine, I ordered a supreme pizza for myself figuring i would have a couple of pieces there and we could bring the rest home for leftovers. The pizza was problem #1: obviously a case of the more toppings you order, the less toppings they use, which “kind of” makes sense….but in this case, the topping, cheese, and sauce were SO scarce, I almost sent it back. Instead I had a couple of pieces, took the leftovers home, and threw the rest of it out. Problem 2: waitress gone for the night after food delivered. We would have loved another drink or even a glass of water with dinner….so I had to go hunt her down to get it. At the end of dinner I again had to hunt her down to the bill, which also for some reason seemed to take forever to cash out. Waitress was very friendly; I let her know the perch was good but the pizza left something to be desired for, and she said “yeah, I know, we get that a lot”. She said she would pass that info along, and I told her do what you will, but if you “get that alot”, it sounds like it falls on deaf ears. She then apologized for not being more present (I didn’t bring that up), and said they are extremely short staffed. So- staffing level was low, pizza basically sucked, perch was good, still left her a decent tip as it sounds like these issues are far above her paygrade. They’re probably losing some business during the renovation, and honestly I’m in no hurry to go back, which sucks because the house beer was pretty good.

Good food. Tried the mushroom aioli burger, Santa Fe chicken wrap, and southwest egg rolls. All fresh tasty, and good portions. Waitress was on top of drink refills.
Little on the pricy side of things. 20 bux for burger and fries, but think that’s just about the norm these days.

Pizza and Baja Tacos were fabulous and the place was busy for a Wednesday night but we were seated immediately. Service was good, and they were busy, but the waitress liked talking to her friends at the table next to us a little to much, but over all she was fine. On a side note, my leftover taco was just as fabulous cold the next day!

Amazing, fresh food. The burger was cooked just right, huge and delicious. Waffle fries were great. The blackened chicken pasta was a little peppery for me but my wife loved it and the sauce had a good consistency and noodles were cooked properly. Definitely coming back to explore more menu options. Service staff seems a bit new but were trying their best on a busy night.

Stopped in on a whim and was pleasantly surprised by how much this place has to offer. If you’re into good craft beer and food, this is definitely a spot to check out. The beer menu is outstanding—tons of options brewed in-house that range from light and fruity to dark and rich. I tried the Boston Black Stone Porter and the Pineapple Weizguy—both were incredibly smooth, flavorful, and clearly made with care. The Boo-liner Weisse was also a hit—light, tart, and refreshing.
The food menu was just as impressive. Everything was fresh and full of flavor. You can tell they take pride in pairing their dishes with the beers they offer. The service was friendly and knowledgeable; the staff helped me choose a flight that matched my taste perfectly.
They also have a great cocktail menu if beer’s not your thing, with creative and tasty options like the Blackberry Bourbon Lemonade and the Detroit Style Old Fashioned. Plus, the Mug Club looks like a fun deal for locals!

My order was messed up. I tried calling for a manager and sat on hold twice with nobody picking up. I tried contacting them through their site with no response. So here I am, forced to share it here. The wrong type of chicken was put in the mac n cheese. I ordered a quesadila with no peppers or onions that was loaded with them. I have an allergy and couldnt even eat it. Used to come here all the time but dont think I will again.

My husband booked my 70th Birthday Party at Baraboos. We had 40 people with pizzas and salad being served. It was open bar. Our area was set up perfectly when everyone arrived. Deanna made sure the tables were where we needed them to be. The pizzas were perfectly cooked and out on time. Salad was fresh with a variety of greens. The servers Lily and Saddie were awesome, very attentive. No one waiting for something to drink. They promptly removed dirty dishes from the tables so guests could enjoy conversation! This was the best experience ever. Thank you Great Baraboo for a nice evening!

Great food and a wide selection of beers with various brew options. The festive vibes are superb, especially during their awesome trivia nights that draw a good crowd. The Shrimp Bang Bang, with its delicious creamy coleslaw base, is a must try. The pizza is truly perfect with its taste, ample meat, and just the right amount of cheese. The service is excellent, and I plan to become a regular patron.
