We have tried the pies before and they’ve always been great. Same with the quiche. But we tried their pizza last night and it was amazing! My favorite – thick, chewy crust and lots of delicious sauce. We had the pepperoni and also the mushroom pizza. 10/10.
I was a bit hesitant on the not being able to order prior to pickup but our transaction took all of 3 minutes and we left with 2 delicious pizzas. Right now they’re doing their pizza on Fridays between 5-7 pm only.

So… I ate the pie too quickly and forgot to take a picture. Found this one from Thanksgiving. The staff is amazing and professional, always ready with recommendations. My favorite is the apple with crumbles on top. Just something about it makes me happy 🙂 I would highly recommend Gray House for dessert, although I always forget about their savory stuff. I am definitely heading over again to pickup some savory (new review to come)

Recently bought a crumb topped applie pie from Gray House at the Hudson Farmers Market. Visually the pie looks great. Sadly thats where the positives ended. I would have loved to see locally sourced apples, but can give a pass for store bought IF they would have removed the stickers or thoroughly peeled them. Sadly neither was the case as I fought through eating a slice. Overall very little apple flavor (I now know that they were golden delicious apples due to the sticker I pulled out, so the very light flavor checks out), little cinnamon, HEAVY butter in the crust. Almost to the point of leaving a film in your mouth. Love supporting local business, but this one was a bit of a miss.

I bought a Gray House “Four Berry Good Friends” Pie at Market 42 in Brunswick on the Saturday before Memorial Day. I paid the astronomical sum of $25 for the delicious-looking pie, and another $5 for a blueberry crumble bar. The crumble bar was dry and tasteless, but you can’t win them all. The pie, however, went moldy before I could serve it to my guests on Memorial Day, less than 48 hours after purchasing it. I contacted Gray House several times about making this right, and have still had no response. Disappointed, won’t be back.

We ordered two pies for our family get-together on 11/28, the day after Thanksgiving. Gray House confirmed the order by email and even charged our credit card in full. When I drove through the snow storm to pick up the pies as scheduled and confirmed, the store was closed !! Of course nobody answers the phone at Gray House either and their voice mail is full. Looking at the web site now, it says they will be closed from Thursday until the Monday after. I guess they didn’t feel it was important to let customers know even through they accepted and confirmed orders weeks earlier.

Delicious pies and nice staff. I’ve had the mixed berry, apple, and chocolate. They’re all great but chocolate is definitely my favorite, rich and dense topped with homemade whipped cream The apple comes in a very close second. It’s a classic apple pie and very well made.

I was so excited to try this place! However, the cherry pie was so overpriced for the quality. It was somehow burnt all over, yet had the soggiest crust on the bottom. We tried it after about 6 hours from picking it up from our scheduled pickup time. It didn’t sit for days by any means. Very disappointed for the bland, mushy, and burnt cherry pie for the price.
