Just moved back to the area, gave this place a try for breakfast. It was so good and the service was better! Very nice, clean and great atmosphere. We started with the candied bacon, very good! My son had the PBG plate, full order. He loved it, you better be hungry, it’s a lot! I had the senior special, excellent.
We will definitely be back, this place was great!

I want to give a big thank you to our server, Renee. From the moment we sat down, they were welcoming, patient, and very attentive. They checked on us at just the right times and made sure our food and drinks were exactly how we wanted them. Their positive attitude really made our visit special. Excellent service like this keeps us coming back!

On Thursday morning I decided to go back to Gravy in Red Oak, Texas because I really enjoyed my breakfast there months ago. I was once again so glad I did. I had the biscuits & gravy breakfast with scrambled eggs, bacon , sausage and hash browns. It was so so so delicious. The coffee ☕️ was hot and good as each refill was hot and good. My server, Rebecca, was very nice, courteous, and an excellent server. She continuosly checked on me and later sent me home with some courtesy zucchini bread. Gravy is NOW, by far, one of my favorite restaurants in the DFW. I’m always satisfied with my meals and service there. Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day and was a special time for me with my Dad. I would definitely
recommend GRAVY for an excellent meal to anyone…. Alex Wall

We found this place while staying nearby for the Stars of Texas Festival 10-4-2025 and let me tell you it’s a gem! One of the owners was our server the other the chef! Amazing customer service, adorable atmosphere, delicious food, baked bread(like zucchini or banana) for the table for free appetizer, and try the candied bacon on a stick-yum, plus awesome baked goods to buy for snacking later! Already added this spot to our travel map to stop by next time we travel through!!! Would happily give it 10⭐️

I always try to build people and places up before I give my constructive feedback.
First…., Let me say, this is probably my fourth time coming to this restaurant, (Once with a church group, once with my family and twice by myself), And let me say the food is AWESOME and AMAZING Each time…, WELL WORTH THE VISIT!!!
99.9% of “ALLLL” The workers and servers were extremely nice, accommodating and SOOOOOO HELPFUL!
Now…, Here is the constructive part…., I placed my order For the breakfast “Gravy Special”, which includes two eggs, hashbrowns, 1 biscuits, and a shot of loaded gravy…, YUMMM!!!
The problem that I have is, when my order came out, it had cheese all over the eggs And I explained to the lady who brought the meal out, that I do not eat cheese on my eggs.
Unfortunately, she immediately started scolding me, (like an elementary school kid), and asking me very Condescending and direct questions like.., “Did you not order this meal? What did you think was going to be on the plate if you add cheese to your eggs? This is what adding cheese to a plate looks like, etc.”.
WOW…, She was so short and aggressive with me until, it had me questioning myself as to what I actually ordered. I then looked at the menu and discovered there was not cheese in the description so, I would not have ordered that anyway. I then told her, no problem, just bring me out a separate order of eggs, and I will pay for them. The server, then said, oh, my fault, I pressed the wrong button. She then told my server to just go ahead and bring out another side of eggs, without cheese, and then she abruptly walked off As though I was some dummy who did not know how to order!
MANNNN…., The sad part for me is, this kind of thing never normally happens to me, but, this is the second time this week I have had this kind of treatment at a restaurant. I am just an old, 60-year-old southern Baptist preacher who loves the Lord and loves people But, I guess this has been my week, (LOL, maybe I need a haircut)! ‍
I tried to blow this off but, I actually think this lady is like the head manager Of this restaurant But, surprisingly, not “ANY” of the other people I dealt with had an attitude like hers. I wanted to just speak with her after this, but, she passed me a couple of times so fast, with the side eye, until I decided to just leave it alone. I’ve learned to pick my fights and Maybe, this just was a bad morning for her.
Anyway, I am full, happy that I came and getting ready to enjoy this beautiful Saturday. Hopefully, no one else will have to deal with the condescending wrath I dealt with this morning and hopefully her day gets better.
See you guys the next time!

Well I didn’t think some of the food was good. And I love gravy. This gravy was thick, kinda cold and weird tasting. The biscuit was big and hard. Maybe because we ate later that morning. Sausage was under cooked and not so good. Eggs were great and hash browns were ok. It’s an expensive breakfast so I expect a lot. $44 with tip for 2. I’ve had much better for the price. Owner and people are super nice and I was liking the music they play.

We loved our first visit to Gravy! Didn’t disappoint! Coffee was strong and good. The gravy was thick, had mushrooms, and was very tasty! The food was delicious, the service was great, and the atmosphere was very welcoming. Everyone was super nice. Thank you to whomever took care of our bill. May you be blessed abundantly. Definitely recommend and will return.

I had lunch with my sons on a Saturday. Was very busy but got a table within 5 minutes. Boys ordered chicken fried chicken one had fries and the other had has browns and eggs. I had the croissant BLT with onion rings. The only bad them we had was the onion rings which seemed like they were a not fresh item. Otherwise great service and decent pricing. I think for the 3 of us was around $66.

Outstanding Breakfast & Exceptional Service!

I had a fantastic breakfast experience here! The food was fresh, delicious, and came out quickly, but what truly made the visit memorable was the outstanding service. Our server Renee was warm, attentive, and genuinely made us feel welcome. She went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. It’s rare to find such great hospitality these days—this server truly elevated the whole meal. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
