Eclectic atmosphere. Delicious food. Excellent service. Conveniently located.
OK, that’s the overview of this restaurant, but let’s dive into details. It was a fun experience in all its eclectictiveness (I’m inventing words now.) 80s music playing in the background, my favorite.
The server was engaging and helpful. The food was big, delicious, and prepared exactly how we ordered it.
I always have special requests, they nailed them all to perfection. They have delicious looking pastries, we ordered four different cookies to go.
The pancakes, which I normally don’t eat, are fantastic. All that to say that we’re very happy with our stop at the Grateful Bread! Yum and fun.

Some of the best pancakes in the valley! Great breakfast and lunch. Make sure to check it out!

Great service! Absolutely wonderful server.
Food was marginal. Had chicken fried steak. It was good, but the gravy was overcooked, and the biscuits could have been used for hockey pucks.

Stopped in for lunch while recently in Bigfork. The bread used for my grilled cheese was absolutely divine! I also enjoyed the tomato soup the sandwich was served with. The restaurant has a cozy, family-friendly atmosphere.

My husband and I were in Big Fork over my birthday and we went for lunch. My husband mentioned it was my birthday (usually a no no for me!) and Kristy came out wearing a tiara and waving a wand with a heart as she sang Happy Birthday. Kristy is such a delightful person and it made my day! And now to the food….delish sandwiches and the tomato soup was the BEST I’ve ever had. I look forward to coming back to see Kristy and to try the baked goods. I’m sure I won’t be disappointed.

My food was amazing, eggs done perfectly, pancakes somehow crispy and perfect, bacon was delicious, home made bread and in house jam was… Chefs kiss.
Had a nice time sitting on a lazy Saturday morning. Forgot my wallet so it was nice being able to use my phone to pay. Possibly the best breakfast spot I’ve been to yet in flathead.

The staff here is super helpful and nice. The bread they use with the sandwiches and soups is just so delicious, one of the best in the valley. I also recommend to try the specials every once in awhile they have one that knocks it out of the park.

The food is very good, the staff are nice and the live music is pleasant I recommend stopping by grabbing a breakfast sandwich during the morning. It has a nice cozy atmosphere inside with a pleasing environment outside. Their homemade “Peasant Bread” is wonderful. It’s almost like eating at a 5 star restaurant.

Absolutely the best breakfast in Flathead! Pancakes are amazing. Love the breakfast scrambles with the herbed potatoes. This isn’t like the other Grateful Breads I’ve been to, its way better!

Amazing scratch made food. Great service and a decent price. Unfortunately some of their Californian customers are pretty rude to the staff. I’ll definitely be back.
