I have to go out to Selma every 6 months for my neurology appointment. When I got done I had to wait for my transport to get there and on the air I caught the greatest smell coming from a barbecue. I did a quick ghoul search to see what barbecue places were around me and I found this wonderful place called the grapewood grill. I called to make sure that the tri-tip was going to be available as it says to call a day ahead. I talked to a gentleman who was quite possibly one of the nicest men I’ve talked to in a long while and he explained that it wouldn’t be a problem for me to get a tri-tip sandwich. I tried the sandwich and the ribs and I must say that this is quite possibly the best barbecue I’ve had in quite some time. It is truly authentic BBQ and it is definitely going to be a place that I visit on my biannual Trek to Selma. And try every one of the sides.

The best Mom & Pop shop ever! It smells so good before walking in to order. I got the pulled pork sandwich meal. Pulled pork is so juicy and soft with so much flavor. BBQ sauce made it 100x better! Best Mac and Cheese I’ve ever ate and really good baked beans. I definitely recommend !!

If you are looking for a mom and pop BBQ spot that’s delivers delicious food, a warm and inviting environment and excellent customer service, this is the perfect place for you! I had the pleasure of trying their Tri-tip sandwich, Mac and cheese, and potato salad and it was 10’s across the board. The meat is soft and savory, it’s beautifully seasoned and you can taste the smokiness in every bite. The potato salad is the perfect texture, has a delicious assortment of flavors that a good potato salad should. And finally the Mac and cheese… I’ve got to say this is the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had in my life, I couldn’t stop eating eat. I would 100% recommend everyone to try this spot and be amazed!

Food was very good and the staff are friendly. This place has great customer service. My plate consist of five ribs, potato salad, baked beans, cornbread and a side of bbq sauce for $17. This was an excellent price. I enjoyed the option of eating the ribs with and without bbq sauce.
