Really great burger (California). One of the best I have had in the area with all fresh ingredients. Onion rings were also good, but interested in trying some of the other sides. Sunday was solid. Service was prompt and outside area all very clean.

We stopped here on our way back to the cities and it was such a good idea. The chicken strips, bacon cheeseburger, fries, and onion rings were all delicious!! Our server was so sweet and we loved our experience here and will definitely be back!

New ownership, so we were excited to give it a try. Walking into the restaurant a lottle past 6 pm on a saturday night, there weren’t any signs stating to seat yourself or wait to be seated. After standing awkwardly, then getting someone’s attention, we were told to seat ourselves. 7 minutes later, after trying to make eye contact with someone, we still didn’t have anyone come to our table to give us menus or greet us. However, once that was worked out, our waiter was kind, although inattentive to drink needs. All the staff are quite young and inexperienced in customer service. I am sure they will get better with this over time. The food was quite slow as well. From the time we ordered and then got our food, it was almost an hour. But, the food was delicious and my family did quite enjoy our meals! All the food was hot and fresh. The onion rings were homemade and beer battered and melt in your mouth delicious! I got the broasted chicken dinner, and it was cooked perfectly! The soft serve ice cream machine boasted unique flavor add-ins that all my kids enjoyed! We will definitely give it another try, but we hope we can have dinner at the drive-in and not take almost two hours from beginning to end.

This roadside diner has the most friendly staff! I was greeted and served by the owner herself and the staff were also wonderful and very helpful. They gave great recommendations on their menu choices and I had some of the largest and most delicious chicken strips I’ve ever had. The chocolate malt was the best treat on my trip back home. I highly recommend stopping and checking out this great restaurant, you won’t be disappointed!

Stopped today for lunch and was greatly disappointed . Cute decor inside. Tables were cleaned off but STICKY. We moved to three different ones and they were all the same. Waitress was super sweet and friendly once we were finally waited on. We sat for 15 minutes before even being acknowledged. Had chicken strip basket with fries and a regular cheese burger and fires; large root beer float for beverage. Fries were yummy and my kiddo liked the chicken strips. My burger, however, was pink inside . I had them remake it and the second was the same way . Prices were very steep for what we got in my opinion. Most of the staff were busy visiting and not paying attention to the food that was up. Ours sat in the warmer for almost 10 minutes with 3 different people looking at the order and not delivering it until our waitress brought it out. I was very disappointed.

Homemade chili that is wonderful! Texas style with all-meat (high-quality), tons of garlic, and acidic tomatoes to balance! Served on the world’s crispiest fries with sharp freshly shredded cheddar cheese on top.
The Broasted (i.e. pressure fried) chicken is impressively moist with a slight breading and skin is cooked off so there’s none of that squishy skin.
Cheese “pops” are pillowy versions of a cheese curd and we tried the regular as well as the garlic… The garlic is like biting into the softest, cheesiest garlic bread ever!!!
Their fried pickles use an entirely different style of breading that is seasoned, thicker, and scratch-your-mouth-in-the-best-way crunchy!
Fun craft sodas and ice cream flavor swirls.
We did the drive-in, turned off the engine, rolled down the windows, let the breeze blow through, and listened to their pretty waterfall wishing fountain. So flippin’ fun!

Really good burger, this one was the grantsburg burger which is cheese between two patties, like a pizza burger type thing. Clean place that wasn’t expensive, good food and fast service.

This was my first stop to the drive in since new ownership. Everything was delicious and hot! There was great service and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend getting the grantsburger, fries, cheese pops, and shakes!

If I could give 10 stars I would! Such a wonderful dining experience for my family! It was my first time getting to visit since it reopened under new ownership this year, and I’m already looking forward to next year when they open again after the winter season!
Everything was as fresh as could be – the chocolate shake was just right in every way, and the burgers and sides were nice and hot! Portion sizes were incredibly generous, and my daughter kept saying “mmm” after every bite of her broasted chicken tenders kids meal. I so appreciate the many “little things” all throughout that make this place truly special, and it stands out. From coloring books with crayons for the kids, chocolate shavings on top of the shake, incorporating quality and homemade ingredients, partnering with local vendors, along with witnessing another customer being celebrated with a special treat with a candle in it for their birthday… I mean, it’s incredible.
PS get the cheese pops! Out of this world!

The Grantsburg Drive-in is amazing! The food was mouth-watering when I looked at the menu. There were cool beer shaped glass mugs for your drink. They even have the Northeast soda available! The food was very good and I left no crumbs on that plate. Would come again.
