We were up in Dumont with my family for a holiday photoshoot and a local recommended this tavern. It was the perfect pit stop for the 1.5 hr ride back south. Place as busy, half of its a bar. The menue had loads of exciting options but we were tipped off about the thin crust pizza-it was a hit to say the least. Solid draft beer options. Also, highly recommend the muscles w white wine & garlic!

Stumbled upon this place one Friday after work. There was a bit of a wait because we didn’t reserve a table beforehand. Once we were seated we ordered some French onion soup, loaded nachos, buffalo maple wings, and a bar sized pizza. We were surprised to learn that they received an 8.2 from a One Bite review. The drunken chicken pizza was really good. It was a nice thing crispy crust. We also ordered a beer and sangria. The nachos with chili were piled high with cheese, jalapeños, olivesand chili. The wings were salty, spicy and sweet, the perfect combination. The French onion soup was flavorful and cheesy.

I really enjoyed the atmosphere. There were young and old people, couples and buddies. There was also plenty of parents who brought their kids. Someone was randomly going around, balloon twisting things like roses and swords for the kids. It was quite noisy but I didn’t mind. If you prefer a more quiet place, this is not the place for you.

The service was excellent. Stella was very attentive and helpful with her food recommendations. The prices were reasonable. I would definitely come again.

Great local watering hole! Just a couple of blocks away from my family’s home. During my last visit this last July 2025, my family recommended this place and for that I thanked them. Easy setting, easy ordering, good food. Their pot of mussels was great. When in town, I will visit again.

The wait can be a bit long at times, but it’s absolutely worth it. The food is consistently delicious and fairly priced. They keep things interesting with rotating specials and seasonal dishes. Easily some of the best pizza in the area.

Conveniently off Washington Ave. where President George Washington once actually passed is a pub with great meals and deals!

Stop in anytime on Monday through Thursday for discounted entrees; each day is a different special.

One of the specials offered on Wednesdays are different parmesan entrees. With a difficult decision to make, I chose chicken and was not disappointed. The marinara sauce with a touch of Parmesan cheese is the way to go!

Thursdays are wings. The dude wings are smothered in sweet Thai chili sauce. There’s a whole bunch of flavors to choose so make multiple trips if you want to try them all!

Even if you miss any of the specials, you will still have a really great time.

The prosciutto & Baratta salad eats like a meal. It can easily feed a couple.

You can never get enough onions and gravy as you chow down on the sliced filet mignon platter. Underneath these delicious toppings are the thinly sliced steak and buttered toast.

The best part of the Irish whiskey burger are the frizzed onions. This bad boy has several toppings so you’ll get the best of many worlds!

Whether you are looking to dine indoors or outdoors check out this local spot as you won’t be disappointed. With so many entrees to choose, especially on Special days, no one can eat just one!

In my opinion, (VERY controversial take) but this place is better than Kinchley’s in Ramsey. Dave Portnoy had reasoning for giving this place a higher score than there and I can see why. The amount of grease on their pies are perfect. Nice flavor, too.

Service is friendly and attentive. Atmosphere is nice and welcoming. I just don’t think the food is all that good. It’s a bar so perhaps that’s expected but still. The prime rib sandwhich is the only thing I order and half the time the meat is tough because it’s overcooked. You can’t order it medium rare or medium, there is no pink in the prime rib sandwhich. It’s only brown which correlates to it being tough and chewy. I just wished they cooked it a little bit better. That all. It’s a nice spot, just never a first choice when I want good quality food
