An airy interior, arcade games & pitchers of beer are all on offer at this chill pizza joint.

I was so excited to try this local staple, but I’m so disappointed with my experience. It’s honestly the least flavorful pizza I’ve had since COVID. The sauce tasted metallic and the cheese sticks literally just tasted like burnt flour.
I may give it another chance down the road but it won’t be anytime soon.

This place is a great spot for after drinking at the bars all around. The pizza is good the service isn’t great, it’s seems it’s filled with a bout of college kids working for Pennie’s. The place is open pretty late and they have a lot of options of what you can eat. You can even build your own pizza. They also provide vegan/ gluten options. It’s not one of my favorite pizza places but if you are starving and are with a group of people this is a good spot. It took forever for my pizza to come out, I think I had to remind them twice to bring my pizza after seeing other that order after us get there food.

Came here for a quick slice after a long work shift. Ordered online in advance(very clutch) & it was hot and ready when I arrived. I got the cardiac arrest slice. It was really good, foldable, and not too heavy. Toppings were fresh. Parking is tight, and on the street, but you can find it. I’ll be back.

I’ve been coming here since 2008 and have loved it every time. The food tastes exactly how I want it to taste and the vibe is always friendly…until today. There were 3 people in here when me +1 walked in, 2 already eating and one waiting to be served. Our order was simple, one item for each of us and One of us more hungry than the other. Every step of the way the girl that took our order was “Nice-nasty”. Saying the “right things” but tone And facial expressions were that of someone who was annoyed. Made it clear she was pressed to serve someone else vs taking our order. She could have just said “welcome in I’ll be right with you” while she takes them their food but now, we got the pressed and annoyed version. And instead of putting my cheese slice in towards the end of the calzone they let the calzone sit out for 5+ minutes getting cold while he’s staring at it, hungry, and getting hungrier. I got up to ask the annoyed counter lady if I could take his calzone cause he’s hungry. She said no but that she’d bring it. So she followed me with the food and proceeded to lecture us about how she’s supposed to bring the food out together. Fine- that might be store policy but now that I’ve told you he’s hungry and the food getting cold- let him have his food! So after her lecture about the “policy” she adds in “plus I serve women before men anyway”. I appreciate feminism and chivalry but Your person politics have NO place in my dining experience.

This is definitely a 5 star restaurant. The atmosphere is awesome! The service is always great. The quality of the food is excellent. Prices are reasonable. This is by far my favorite pizza place. You have to try it and see for yourself. The cardiac arrest light cook is my go to selection. Absolutely delicious!

I hate I forgot their names but I call them my friends! One has dreads and the other one is short lol but they always make sure my pizza is just right! They are always so nice and friendly! I feel like they are family! If it was up to me,they’d get a raise! The best customer service ever! Highly recommend this place to all my friends and family!

Had a bad craving for a great slice of pizza & was a goid ways away from where I normally go,so I googled for somewhere closer. Out of the choices that came up I gravitated to Grant central pizza east, and it was a GREAT decision. I got the cardiac arrest slice & added about 7 more toppings ( because I’m a foodie to heart & love full eating experiences) The ingredients were very fresh,ALL of them. I asked for it to be cooked well done for an extra crispy crust, the cook did it perfectly. Even showed it to me & asked if it looked like I wanted. Needless to say, as long as they keep high standards & quality like I experienced today, this will be my go to pizza place.

A nice hipster spot serving pizza by the slice. We arrived in the late afternoon and there weren’t many other patrons. We got pizza slices and it took almost 20 minutes. The spinach wasn’t well cooked but was flavorful. The service was fine, although our waiter was a bit impersonal. I dug the decor, which is rustic bordering on dilapidated. This place fits well in the hip neighborhood, just a nice chill spot. Solid value if you love slices.
Limited parking spots in the back.

I gave them 5 stars because they were the closest thing I’ve tasted to how pizza shops up North do it. Soon as I bit into a slice, it put me back in Boston on Mass Ave St. I was very surprised, the crust, grease, and cheese was an excellent taste and texture. My daughter also enjoyed her slice as well, the cook sliced her pizza into pieces which I thought was very accommodating. Nice chill spot with an outside portion as well. We will be back

I love Grant Central Pizza East. For years I was hooked on their Dinner Salads, it’s freshness and size. Recently, I ventured into their pastas and tried their Spaghetti and Meatball Special- it was AMAZING!!! The sauce was lovely, and I couldn’t get enough of the meatballs. In fact, I went back a week later just to purchase more meatballs…it’s a gem!
