The food was served fresh and hot. The fried chicken and collard greens were excellent. Blessing was very attentive and so kind. She is also a recent transplant to Butler. Granny’s also gives a Military Discount. I have never been treated so well as I am in Butler.

These folks aren’t messing around up here. I have not had a comfort style stick to your ribs kind of meal like this in a long time. Everything I had was great. The fired chicken, the mashed potatoes, I had to refrain from drinking the gravy by itself, the cabbage and cornbread was so good. And the chocolate Bundt cake was so moist and fresh. Seriously when I’m driving through butler I’ll be coming here no exceptions. The photo speaks for itself

Our family just moved to Alabama A couple of weeks ago and we were excited to try the food here and boy Did it not disappoint. We have been in here twice and today we decided to try a few items on the menu, including the fried chicken. I have to quote our 10-year-old son “ this is by far the best fried chicken I have ever had!” It was surprising to hear because he normally does not like chicken and he ended up eating three pieces! I will say that I agree with with him. It was definitely flavorful and juicy, and probably the best chicken we’ve had. Our other favorite are the egg rolls, they are jam packed with flavor and just the right heat. The icing on the cake were the very kind people who work there and make the delicious food. They were extremely welcoming and very kind. We will be back!

Got the fried catfish lunch special with two huge filets, fresh carrot salad, mashed potatoes with house onion gravy, and some hush puppies. I really enjoyed my lunch there, and the people were really sweet. The only problem was they were understaffed for servers, so I had to wait a while to even get my drink, but after it slowed down the one waitress did a great job.

I ate breakfast at the granny spoon This morning. The quality of the food was better than the Waffle House chain & the IHOP chain. The hostess was friendly & kind. Sevice was great since we didn’t have wait long for meal to arrive. & taste of water was great! I would highly recommend this place based on quality of service, atmosopyhere & great food! & we plan to stop by again if we are in the area and recommend highly to others to suppport this mom and pop family owned restaurant due to reasonable prices, good food and great service!

This is a diamond in the ruff that has just opened May 1st. Their loaded baked potato is Awesome! They have good coleslaw, and salads fill a regular plate with plenty on it. Oh and the crown jewel is the Fried Green Tomatoes they fix up. I would highly recommend this nice little place to have breakfast, lunch, or supper. They have nice friendly service too.
