Been here twice now and love it!! We got the 2 piece haddock and chips and split it between my boyfriend and me for around $17. Fries were nice and crispy and the fish was so yummy! Highly recommend supporting this place. The lady who works here is so nice too.

I come here for fish and chips every once in a while. Good owners and good fish. However, the portion size of the side is ridiculous for the price. 41 $ for halibut and fries and the fries we get is a cup’s worth? Also, they always seem to get bothered when we ask for additional tartar sauce??? 41 $ for 2 fish and that extra tartar sauce is a problem? I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt but its not a first.

An absolute hallmark of the city. Best fish and chips, and such friendly service. Gotta get the haddock, it’s impressive every time. Got the 8 piece and it fed my family of 6 (even the one year old ate every bite). Love this place.

We stopped ordering from Granny Bonns because of the price. We needed a quick pickup and decided to order from here. Not a good choice the fish was greasy and not cooked properly as it was doughy.

Amazing fish & chips. Very good value for money. Had a single Halibut dish and was very impressed with the food taste. The serving portion is also sufficient. Fries were good too not oily at all. The dining area is very clean and spacious. I will keep coming back to this place.

Granny Bonn’s makes great fish and chips. Period. You certainly won’t be overwhelmed by the surroundings, but you’ll be concentrating on your meal anyway. Most folks, and there was a lineup, take their food home. Phoning ahead will probably save you a bit of time.

I usually get 2 pieces of Pollock, which is cheaper than haddock and tastes just as good. I like to put malt vinegar and salt on the works for a great flavour.
As someone else said, the lady at the cash is quite friendly (she’s the owner, with her husband, who cooks at the back), so if she’s not busy with a customer, I’ll shoot the breeze with her.
