Hungry family of 4 traveling cross country and we didnt want a chain restaurant. Grandpa’s Grill was an amazing choice and would definitely stop here again when we pass through. The hospitality was top notch, the food was fresh and cooked perfectly, portions were right sized. Warm and inviting atmosphere had us wishing we could stay longer and tell Grandpa he has done a great job with the grill, and thanks for the cookies!!!

Walked in and waited to be seated but nobody said anything just looked at us. So we sat down and after waiting 5mins then the bus boy said you have to order at register. Paid almost $30 for 2 burgers with chips & salsa with drinks. Burgers weren’t all that great, bland taste with small amount of fries. You have to go get what you want added to your burgers yourself from the salad bar thing. For that cost could’ve gotten better tasting burger from Wendy’s. Would I eat here again? Definitely no. Would i recommend to friends and family? Definitely no. Go to 505 burger or any fast food chain near by.

A great place for lunch. The hamburger was well flavored, tasty and big enough to split with my lunch date. Loads of things to check out on the wall.

This little restaurant has alot of character! The food I would say was pretty much average. The burgers were good just a bit dry, fries were OK. Complimentary chips and salsa were served before our meal.

The food was okay, the service was terrible. Four people at the front chit chatting not paying attention to the two tables that have people at them. I had to wave someone down to get ketchup just to have him say “oh it’s over there”, pointing at the salad bar instead of getting it for me.

A great pitstop on our roadtrip. Cozy space, friendly service, and delicious food. We got the small breakfast burritos with red and green chili sauces on the side, per waitress recommendation, which was a perfect way to sample them.

1st time to eat inside. I had swiss and mushroom burger and husband had red smothered number one burrito. Both were good. Atmosphere is rustic and nice. Heads up to guest order and pay before being seated and if you order a burger you use the burger bar. Lettuce and onion are fresh tomatoes are kinda soggy mayo comes in packets. Seating is booth and 4 top tables.
Overall good experience. Will dine in again.

We were passing through town and looking for a place for lunch. I noticed a few men in uniform (military, police, firefighters) entering, and decided that locals who take lunch during work would know a good place for dining.
We were greeted very graciously as we entered. We were informed that we place our order at the counter and then find a place to sit. Fun, interesting decor kept us visually entertained as we waited for our lunch. Very quickly the dining area began filling with families as well as individual diners.
We ordered beef burritos that came on piping hot plates, completely filling the plate, and smothered in cheese and sauce. Both of us agreed it was one of the best burritos we have ever had–tender shredded beef seasoned to perfection (I didn’t even add any salsa).
The wait staff was attentive and pleasant. We had soda refills with our meal, and were provided to-go cups to take a drink with us on the road.
For just pulling into town to have a quick lunch, we struck dining gold and had a filling meal in an adorably decorated environment. By the time we left there were very few open seats, showing the popularity of this little gem!
We will plan our next trip through town to include another wonderful meal at Grandpa’s Grill. For sure!
