Super friendly staff but when you pay $23 for a medium pizza it would be nice if #1 the pizza was cut all the way through and #2 if after waiting 10 minutes before you even try to pick up a slice, it would be great if all of the cheese and toppings didn’t slide right off! Waste of good money!

Grandma’s N.Y. Pizza is an absolute gem! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with outstanding service and a warm, inviting atmosphere. The food is simply super delicious – every slice is a taste of perfection. What truly sets Grandma’s apart is their fantastic selection of drinks, offering something for everyone with both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options. This place has it all and is a must-visit for any pizza lover!

The owner was very friendly and the food was good. Their cauliflower crust had a good flavor, although it seemed like the center wasn’t cooked all the way. The hot wing sauce and homemade ranch tasted very good.

The lunch specials are great! I had 2 pieces of cheese pizza and a drink for $8. The slices are HUGE (took a picture of 1 slice) and the sweet tea was perfect!!! We had zeppoles for dessert and they were delicious! We dug in and ate them before any pictures could be taken LOL!

Stopped by early on Saturday and grabbed some slices and a Greek salad. Service was really good and our food came out fast.

My Greek salad was fresh and a good value for the price. The pizza slices were amazing and I especially loved the sauce. Total meal, including a beer, was less than $30. We would definitely visit again.

I wish that would have taken pictures but we tore into it as soon as I put the boxes on the table. The grandma’s pie is by far the best pizza I have had out of all the places I’ve visited across the country from Callifornia to Maine, no exaggeration! They use very fresh ingredients and you can tell they treat the pizza like art, carefully placing each vegetable and/or meat. Every time that I come in to pick up my order, the owner is as authentic as his food. If you have not tried Grandma’s N.Y. Pizza, you are missing out!

We arrived at 8:04 pm, well before the posted 9:00 pm closing time on Google and on the door. The restaurant was empty except for one person waiting on a to-go order.

As soon as my mother and I walked in, four employees at the counter turned and stared at us. A man asked if we were dining in or to-go. When I said dine in, he looked at a clock and said, “You have 30 minutes. No, 26 minutes to eat and go. We close dining at 8:30.” When we started to just leave, he waved toward the dining room and said, “You now have 25 minutes.”

When the waitress came over, I asked if we would have enough time if we ordered right away. Her response was, “Well, what do you want?” When I said salad and pizza, she told us to order a mini pizza because it cooks faster.

At that point, it was clear we were not welcome. I told her I didn’t feel like they wanted us there, and her response was simply, “Yeah.”

I haven’t dined in for about six months since moving across town, but I regularly order delivery for work, usually serving 10-15.

I completely understand giving customers a heads-up when they arrive within the last 15–20 minutes of closing. That said, nearly an hour before posted closing time felt unnecessary and unwelcoming. If the dining room closes at 8:30, that should be clearly communicated. I hope management takes a look at how this situation was handled, as it cost them a loyal customer.
