I got the Take Me to the Water. When I ordered it y’all, the name didn’t make sense. After eating it, it makes perfect sense!! Those stuffed jalapenos were hotter than I expected but balanced well with the meat and cream cheese stuffing. Pair those Texas Twinkies with the hot links and this sandwich had me sweatin!! The smoked chicken with cheddar cheese, helped to balance the heat, and the Texas Toast was a must to house all that meat!! I mean the container it came in had to be held shut with a rubber band! My wife got the brisket potato with extra brisket. The brisket was tender and flavorful! The potato was seasoned separately, which doesn’t happen often, adding to the deliciousness of the meal!!
If you go make sure to call ahead to see what they’re serving. They don’t serve everything, every day. It’s definitely worth the wait!!
My wife got the Oreo cheesecake. It was scrumptious!! The cheesecake was filled with Oreo pieces that were soft and topped with crunchy pieces on top. It was sweet but not overly. I had the sopapilla cheesecake. I couldn’t pass on it, not many dessert places carry it. It was delectable!! The filling was light and creamy. The crust was flaky and crunchy and plenty of sugar and cinnamon on top!! Yummy!! 5 out of 5!!!

Gainesville got lucky when Grandma’s House Bakery decided to set up shop in town!
The food is awesome! I had the El Diablo Sandwich and my MIL had the slow cooked bbq country style ribs with dirty rice and green beans. We were both very happy with our food! My in laws love the cookies too!

Cheesecake Heaven!!! My favorite is the pecan pie cheesecake, followed by the sweet potato cheesecake. On sunny days the lemon blueberry cheesecake is also delightful. Texas Twinkies are delicious My daughter’s favorite is the chicken spaghetti! It doesn’t disappoint!! Baked potatoes are are my lunch time favorite I look forward to trying the stew on Friday!!

Grandmas House Bakery not only serves delicious home baked goods, but also has a great selection of BBQ and like dishes. Another favorite, not included in the pictures, is the Rick Ross which is a pot roast sandwich. It was so good that it was gone before I got a chance to take a snapshot.

Comfort food at its finest! My only complaint is that they do not serve breakfast anymore. I have been back three times and every time has been a special experience. The taste of the food and the flavor explodes in your mouth. Don’t cheat yourself and make sure that you get a slice of cheesecake and one of the various flavors. Some of the best I have had.

I have been dying to try Grandma’s House Bakery. I finally was able to stop in. My only mistake was I popped in outside of lunch hours however the owner was kind enough to make my husband a smoked chicken sandwich. The sandwich was phenomenal! I could smell the smoke of the chicken my whole car ride home (20mins) my mouth was waterin’!
I tried a slice of the snickerdoodle cheesecake and my husband got a slice of carrot cake cheesecake. While the carrot cake didn’t necessarily bring carrot cake to mind it was delish! I loved the snickerdoodle flavor as well.
I can’t wait til I can make it back during lunch hours. The sandwiches haunt my dreams

Never disappointed when I visit grandmas bakery! It’s all so good, I love the banana pudding. The sandwich pictured is the “big daddy”: brisket, cheese, poppers and sauce on a toasted bun. So good!

Steven’s establishment is impeccably clean and well-kept. His excellent character shines through in the outstanding service and fantastic food. The meatloaf and “Take Me to the Water” were delicious, and the pecan cheesecake was a perfect dessert. Highly recommended for a great dining experience!
