Digs isn’t awful, but it’s not better than mediocre. Instead of printing new menus, they stuck a paper in their menus listing the increased prices for at least half the menu. Things containing prime rib are mostly fat. Service is friendly but slow for an empty restaurant.

The last two times I’ve been to Digs I’ve been very disappointed with the food and service. One of the times we waited over an hour for our food. When the waitress came by she told us they had made the wrong pizza for us not once but twice. When the pizza finally did come out it was still made incorrectly, but we decided to not send it back. The plate of food I had ordered had obviously been waiting for the pizza since it was lukewarm at best. The second time we had a split check with friends. I included my tip in my total, but when I checked my bank account several days later they’d added $4.00. Not sure what’s happened there lately but the food and the service has gone way downhill. I live very close but due to these experiences, I’ll drive into town for better service and food. If you’re going for a night out, go somewhere else.

The prime rib was awesome (every Friday’s special). Freshly baked bread after I ordered. Clearly wasn’t sitting around. Was great. My wife’s Santa Fe chicken was huge and good. Only knock was the kids Mac and cheese tasted like kraft (which happens to be my son’s favorite). We live in three springs and will pick this instead of driving into town, especially on prime rib night

Definitely not the same as before! Sure do miss my salmon salad, taking the pizzas away was their biggest mistake, appetizers selection not as good and they don’t carry Moscato! I don’t even know if they have daily specials or a happy hour anymore? Am sure gonna miss Johnnie and the usual wait staff, this wait staff not as friendly at all! 🙂

1st time in and found the staff very friendly, prompt and the food was very reasonably priced. We had chicken salads and they had a good amount of fresh veggies in them. Blackberry cobbler and ice cream was very tasty!

Very inconsistent food. The pizza is soggy every time we’ve had it. No flavor. Inexpensive food that they try and dress up. The bar tenders are usually upbeat and have pretty good customer service skills. Wish I could say that for the hostess. She definitely needs a lesson in etiquette . I asked her to take the extra left over box back and she argued she had to throw it a way. When I told her I would take it and recycle it, she proceeded to give me a dirty little look behind my back but in front of my boys. Plain rude.

The chicken-fried steak was a travesty. Great restaurant great service but if that is what you were going to pass off for a chicken fried steak I would suggest just leaving it off the menu entirely. Don’t get me wrong it was edible. But that’s it it was just edible nothing really great about it at all. The deep fried mushrooms were some of the best I think I’ve ever had. So you guys got that going for you. But just go ahead and take that sorry excuse for a chicken fried steak off the menu.

Food and service was good but atmosphere of place until a live performer started playing guitar was dead. Need to have some music and specials to draw 3 Springs inhabitants on a regular basis. This could be a really sweet neighborhood gathering place but lacking personality currently.
