I went to Grande Station in downtown expecting the usual restaurant experience: decent food, good service, maybe a nice atmosphere.
What I did not expect was to encounter the Ritz Carlton of paper towels.
At some point during the visit I ended up in the restroom and pulled one out of the dispenser. Friends… these weren’t normal paper towels. These things were THICK. Not “pretty good for a restaurant” thick. I’m talking luxury spa, “wrap yourself in it”, five-star hotel thick. The kind of towel that makes you pause mid-hand-dry and think, “Am I worthy of this?”
One towel dried my hands, my soul, and possibly a small portion of my past regrets. I used another just to confirm it wasn’t a hallucination. Still thick. Still majestic.
Honestly, I felt like I was at the The Ritz-Carlton… except instead of a concierge handing me a warm towel, I was standing there in awe of a paper dispenser in downtown Littleton.
The food was good. The staff was great. The vibe was awesome.
But let’s be honest, those paper towels are carrying this place on their plush, absorbent shoulders.
Would absolutely return. Not just for the food… but to once again experience the five-star, Ritz Carlton level paper towel luxury.
An establishment that can recognize corrections is the best kind! I’ll absolutely be back and recommend it to those in the Littleton area.
The staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. It was a pleasure to dine here. Alex was delightful and proved wonderful service.
The food was absolutely fantastic! I had the Vodka penne with salmon, and it was perfection. The sauce was creamy with a lot of salmon. The pasta was al dente, just like it should be, and the salmon was grilled perfectly. My wife had the shrimp scampi, and it was also amazing. The linguine and sauce were amazing and was creamy and well-seasoned with nice garlic flavor
If you’re in Littleton, this is the place to have a relaxing dinner. You can sit outside, enjoy great food, and great service.
Side note, I over heard a server tell a guy who was to gluten free that the only item in the dish he ordered that contained gluten was the potato hash. I was surprised that the guest completely agreed. Potatoes do not inherently contain gluten.
It took another 20min for our cocktails to arrive, and they were disappointing as well, too sour and imbalanced. The waiter kindly let us return them for glasses of wine instead.
The cheese fondue app was both a hit and a miss. The cheese was great and the portion was generous, but the dipping accompaniments were sad and sparse. The bread was stale, and the “pretzel nuggets” were pretzel hotdog buns sliced thin. I had to ask for more because we got 3 slices, and one was a tiny end piece. The baby carrots were visibly dry and the apple pieces (pieces, not slices) were brown.
Our entrees were a lot better. And our waiter was really attentive and kind. We prefer visiting locally owned restaurants over the many chain options in downtown Littleton, but unfortunately we won’t be back.
*Edit on 1/26/26: After speaking with their management (they reached out to me!) I have to say that they were willing to hear concerns and adjust and train staff to provide a better experience. Mistakes will always happen, but its HOW we handle these things that make a difference. Grande Station did so flawlessly. Review edited with one extra star.*
Food was AMAZING. I had a salmon Benedict that hit on every single level possible. One of the better Benedict’s I’ve ever had.
HOWEVER.
The service is FAR below the quality of the food. Any interaction with our server required us to flag him down multiple times before he acknowledged us. We had bottomless mimosas and getting them refilled was a challenge every time.
Food? Amazing and I’ll go back just for that.
Service? Lackluster at best.(but they are training to be better!)
