Waste of money even with the good prices. Why in the world would I want a cookie with no butter in it. Why would I want a cinnimon roll that is stale why does a large place like this serve leftovers. Why would a place like this serve garbage to its customers.

Caramel Pecan Rolls Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, brown sugar, water, pecans, cream, salt, dextrose, corn syrup, vegetable shortening (palm oil, mono and
diglycerides, polysorbate 60), mono and diglycerides, agar, to preserve freshness (potassium sorbate and sulfiting agents), pectin, ammonium alginate, calcium
alginate, niacin, iron as ferrous sulfate, thiamine mononitrate, enzyme, riboflavin, folic acid, high fructose corn syrup, yeast, soybean oil, eggs, salt, cinnamon,
modified cornstarch, sodium stearoyl lactylate, rice flour, datem, maltodextrin, molasses, natural and artificial flavor, cellulose gel, colored with (caramel color, beta
carotene), ascorbic acid, cellulose gum, enzyme. May contain wheat, soy, milk, nuts, egg.

Peanut Butter Cookie Ingredients: Sugar, wheat flour, eggs, Palm & soybean oil, roasted peanuts, baking powder, baking soda, salt, molasses Contains Less than 2%
of , mono-and diglycerides, fully hydrogenated vegetable oils (rapeseed, cottonseed, soybean),niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid.

If you want homemade and fresh baked goods don’t go here they are just a slop shop, again they don’t even use butter. I would look at a chips ahoy and be impressed this is not a bakery. Its a shame that is legal to lie to peoples faces and serve them garbage. This is no different from a starbucks or a dunkin. I hope the owner unstands that having more chemicals than chips ahoy is just wrong.

Chips Ahoy! Soft Birthday Frosting Filled Cookies contain a blend of sugar, enriched wheat flour, and various oils (palm, coconut, soybean)

Frosted Sugar Cookie Ingredients: wheat flour, sugar, palm and palm kernel oil, soybean oil, eggs, corn starch, water, salt, vanillin, canola oil, baking soda, potassium
bitartrate, niacin, reduced iron, thiamine mononitrate, riboflavin, folic acid, Contains less than 2% of whey, potassium sorbate, soy lecithin, vegetable mono &
diglycerides, citric acid, natural & artificial flavor, beta carotene (color), vitamin A palmitate added. May contain: wheat, soy, milk, nuts, egg.

What an absolute shame.

Nice place to visit. A cozy and warm Cafe and bakery. We ordered some hot drinks, different muffins with different flavors (cherry pecan ones) and a cinnamon bun with vanilla creamy topping. Everything was tasty and the place was warm and cozy. Recommended place for a breakfast and a warm drink.

Quiche(choice of kinds), small salad, banana nut bread with real butter…and a piece of incredible pie with a cup of also very good coffee for under $15. Isn’t that crazy? I love this place ❤️

Went here to have a bite to eat before attending an event on campus.
Had a great dining expireance and the staff are friendly and helpful.
We had quiche Lorraine and Tomato Basil Bisque soup, which was pretty good, warm & tasty.
All I know it was a good time.

This is a great restaurant and the staff are very friendly and helpful. However, it’s frustrating that there’s this guy who is there every single day who takes both easy chairs in front of the fireplace, putting his coat on one, sitting in the other, putting his food and cups and personal items on the side tables. Then he takes a phone call and goes to another table in a different part of the restaurant. I have even seen him take a both easy chairs, then put his things on the nearest booth. He has been doing this for the past several years for a few hours each day, so whether I go there a few times in a month, or have several weeks until I visit again, he is there every single day taking up prime space. I imagine they do not ask him to be more courteous to the other customers because he spends so much money on food each day. I’m glad he likes the restaurant, but it would be nice to have other people enjoy the fireplace and easy chairs, especially when two friends meet to catch-up. Apart from his selfish activity, it’s a great restaurant.

The best pies I’ve eaten in my life, I don’t like cherries nor cherry pies, yet I’ve gotten addicted to this one & would love to go to Michigan again just for that pie. Clean place, welcoming staff, I’d stay there for hours working on my laptop, great environment. Love their salads, and even though I don’t drink coffee, I loved the smell of theirs, it has cherrie scent in their coffees. I wasn’t a fan of their peanut-butter cupcakes. But I loved their apple pie, pecan pie, blackberry pie, cherry pie & ABC (apple berry & cherry) pie. Try them all.

Omg I am a Texas transplant and I’ve never have been exposed to pie such as these… I am ADDICTED to them now. They are so, so good.

Aside from that, the employees are really friendly and patient. Its a nice atmosphere inside the establishment.

I was instructed to stop on the way home on Pie Day. It’s absolutely worth it. The ABC pie was amazing. I will be stopping again to grab just blueberry and a cherry.

First visit ever (for brunch on a Wednesday morning) at GT Pie, visiting from Atlanta. It did not disappoint! Everything was delicious! Cappuccino, broccoli and cheddar quiche w/a side of pumpkin bread. The blueberry lemon silk pie was delicious! My son had a delightful PB&J and a cherry pie milkshake, which was AWESOME! Apart from my grand babies, this is my new favorite place in East Lansing, MI!! I’ll be back every visit!

First time eating a full meal at Grand Traverse Pie Company, normally would just get a slice of pie. Their combo options are hard to beat though! For $8.99 I got a piece of quiche, salad, a pumpkin bread slice, and a piece of pie of my choice!! This was all delicious and enough for two individuals. Would highly recommend!
