Fantastic experience at the GOH. We had a birthday dinner here and it was just perfect. The food was phenomenal, the sunset views are unmatched, and the staff is great! 10/10 would recommend hosting your special event here!

Had an amazing time at Grand Old House! The view was absolutely breathtaking, a perfect spot to watch the sunset. The food was delicious and flavourful. The service was top-notch, the staffs were so friendly & caring. We sure were pampered with a beautifully decorated anniversary special dessert. One of the best dining experience in Cayman.

Right on the west coast, you can get a beautiful view of the sunset over the Caribbean. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Enjoyed our evening meal there very much.

Good food overall though certainly pricey. The grill seems better than the seafood (good lamb in particular). Big fish in the water.

Unbelievable views of the water. The entire area of outdoor seating is feet from the Caribbean. Food is spectacular as well! We had the Grouper and the risotto for entrees and had the lobster bisque/potato leek soup/their spin on a wedge salad. The staff was also incredible, we didn’t have to wait for anything. Water and drink refills before the last drop was even drunken, general check-ins and attentiveness, and plates were whisked away the moment they were emptied! Everything was absolutely phenomenal. 10/10 can’t recommend enough!

My husband and I got the pleasure of eating here while visiting for a work conference.
Here is what we loved:
– The staff was absolutely amazing. When the rains hit, they quickly moved us to an indoor table.
– the views! Completely unobstructed views of the gorgeous ocean.
– the food was fantastic. From the conk and lamb appetizers to the lobster bisque to the crab-crusted grouper and the perfectly cooked filet all the way to the lemon raspberry tart and the chocolate tart. It was all amazing.
– spot-on service. We never had to flag anyone down or wait long for anything – from an extra napkin, a dropped utensil, butter, another glass of wine…the service was impeccable.
What we could change if we could…
– the rain…but, alas, we can’t change mother nature.

We loved dining at Grand Old House. It wasn’t too crowded the night we went. We were able sit on the patio overlooking the ocean just after sunset. The food was excellent. We had conch fritters, lobster bisque, crab cakes, and wahoo, which we’re all excellent. We had the chocolate cake for dessert but wished we had opted for the sticky toffee pudding; it looked so good as it passed us on its way to another table.

The atmosphere was beautifully romantic, creating the perfect setting for a special evening. The food was truly outstanding—rich in flavor and full of character, each dish was a delight. From the expertly crafted drinks to the main course and dessert, everything was perfectly executed. What made the experience even more memorable was the thoughtful and attentive service, which added a personal touch to our celebration. A truly unforgettable dining experience.

Easily one of the best restaurants on the island with LOADS of history! Food was amazing and the view (sunset) is spectacular! We got a tour of the wine tasting areas in the original house. What an incredibly well kept building. Beautiful! Also, if you’re a cigar enthusiast, this is the place you want to visit….you’ll understand when you arrive.

By far the best dining experience we had in the Cayman Islands — and honestly, one we’ll never forget.
Grand Old House blends historic architecture with polished elegance: open-air dining, private rooms, a phenomenal wine collection, and fresh-rolled cigars that immediately reminded us of home in Tampa, Florida.
Our group of 16, including 8 children, was handled effortlessly. We dined directly over crystal-clear water with tarpon and nurse sharks swimming below, full sunset views, and cruise liners drifting past — a setting that feels almost unreal.
Every dish impressed, but the crudo alone is worth planning a return trip. A must-visit restaurant in Grand Cayman!
