Came here after running a 5k downtown. Food was yummy, service fast and friendly. The hot chicken Benedict was really tasty. The breakfast lasagna also excellent. We’ll be back.!

The staff here are super friendly, and attentive without pestering.
The country-fried steak was pounded very flat, crispy, and well-seasoned. Everything else was great.
I highly recommend the home fries over the hash browns.
Prices are pretty reasonable for the portions, and I was pleasantly surprised.

Great breakfast diner. Creative menu – hard to pick. Had cheeseburger stuff fried ravioli and eggs, with side of roasted jalapeños. Eggs Benedict any which way you want. Staff super friendly.

Visited Sunday morning for brunch and the meal was just average got the big sampler and the scrambled eggs were not seasoned in any way and lacked flavor, along with the gravy and the hollandaise, the kid enjoyed the chocolate “chips” pancake, the cappuccino was bland and one of the worst I’ve had, the toffee specialty drink tasted like I was going to get very drunk which is not good considering they do not serve alcohol here. Overall if you’re looking for a breakfast/brunch you’ll easily forget you had this is your spot! Holly the waitress was pleasant and trying to work an overloaded morning.

Grand Day Cafe is a wonderful spot for breakfast and brunch! The food is always fresh and delicious, and the staff are super friendly. The cozy, relaxed atmosphere makes it the perfect place to start your day with a cup of great coffee and a tasty omelet. It can get a little busy at times, but that just shows how popular and well-loved this cafe is. Definitely one of the best breakfast spots in Columbus!

This is your classic breakfast diner that serves all the typical brunch menu options. The prices are affordable, and food is not overwhelmingly great but is good enough! The employees were very nice and welcoming.

A little neighborhood gem. Seems to be very popular and now I why. The service is out standing. Our server Vickey is friendly and very attentive. Our food was fresh, perfectly cooked and of superior quality. Kudos for the best country fried steak I’ve ever had. Looking forward to go back on my next visit to Columbus.

Service was unmatched! The woman who helped me was very sweet and she explained everything on the menu really well. Will be coming back! Food came out fast and everyone was so friendly. Food was great I loved having so many vegetables with my eggs but they had so many options on the menu it was hard to choose.

There’s a lot of breakfast/brunch places in Columbus, but i don’t think you get any better than Grand Day Cafe.
I’ve been coming here for about 10 years now and I’ve never had a bad experience with my food or the service.
The food is delicious and they have a lot of creative options you don’t normally see on diner-style menus.
Got a breakfast burrito, some corn beef hash, and a pumpkin pie pancake to share. As always, the eggs were perfect, everything tasted great together and we left full and happy.
Service is also amazing, every server is so nice and the guy who i assume is the owner is always so welcoming and kind.
Best place to get breakfast in Columbus, don’t @ me.

The service was great. The food was ok. The biscuits and gravy were very underwhelming. We had to ask for extra cups of gravy and were charged for them. The biscuits were dry and I’m certain the gravy comes in a can and is microwaved. So maybe skip that one. The home fries are good though!
