Waited almost 40 minutes for an egg and cheese croissant. When I ordered I was given a number but not a buzzer. After 15-20 minutes I asked for my order to go because I was now late for work, and the worker kept trying to give me a croissant from the display case thinking i made an online order. I was told to keep my number with me and waited another 20 minutes watching food get run out to other tables. I was about to cancel my food entirely and ask for a refund when I went to the online pickup area at the other side of the bakery and found it sitting out. A different employee says “we called it several times” and asks for the buzzer I was never given. Poor service/communication, i wish I asked for a refund anyways.

Very yummy and definitetly tastes to be made from scratch in house! Wife had the carrot cake walnut muffin and I had the ham and cheese croissant (with a side of scrambled eggs that I added after I took the pic). The stoneground mustard on the croissant was so delightful! We ordered iced coffees to accompany. The ambiance was great and bright with nice views of trees and morning songbirds from the little marble table we sat at.

Grand Central is a super high-quality bakery. My wife has their cookbook but we had never visited in person. We arrived about 10:00 on a Thursday morning, and it was busy! Got the chocolate croissants, cheese and pesto croissant, pecan pullapart, and a loaf of the sourdough (as one should). We loved everything – so delicious and fresh! Line moved quick and staff was very friendly. Parking gets crowded but opens up quickly too!
