Was really excited about this place as soon as we walked in. It is very nice and seems upscale. The food unfortunately was not very good. The biscuits and gravy were sour, the pancakes were dry, and the food was under seasoned. The water here was good though. I went to take my skillet home. My girlfriend did not wish to take the biscuits and gravy. Also took 10 mins for someone to greet us after we were sat down. I counted 7 tables and at least 2 waitresses and they were not taking other people’s orders. One was sitting and one was standing doing nothing. Poor experience, I mean the atmosphere and water were the best parts about this place. Very shocked at the take home containers being cardboard. I never want my food to taste like that. Why give that as a container for a greasy skillet? Weird.

This is not a place you go to if you’re in a hurry. It has a chill, relaxed atmosphere with GREAT coffee! You’ll want to slow down and relax to enjoy this place fully. My only complaint was that my salad had ice in the lettus, but that didn’t bother me much.

What can I say about this little gem? We were greeted very warmly upon answering the establishment. We were seated immediately and welcomed with waters. Not long after the server greeted us and she was extremely pleasant. We told her that we were from out of town and she was sure to be extremely helpful and patient. We purchased the strawberry orange cold press and it was divine. We also purchased two skillet meals, a Swiss and mushroom burger, chicken salad with fresh mangoes, and a vinaigrette that was to die for, and their berry crepes were excellent. Needless to say the service was excellent and food was to die for. I would highly recommend visiting when in the Chicago area.

I ordered the fruit crepes, based on the photo in the menu, but the reality was completely different from what I expected.
The dish looked nothing like the picture — unappetizing and poorly presented.

The taste was disappointing as well. The crepes were not good at all, the filling was bland, the fruits had no flavor, and the whole dish looked like it was put together in a hurry. I couldn’t even eat it.

It’s very frustrating when the actual food does not match what the restaurant advertises. I hope they improve the taste and presentation of this

We went here for brunch on and really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is very nice. It is very clean, modern with elegant designs. Food and service was great. I didn’t read the menu description, so my fault, but I ordered the Acai smoothie and it came out like a milkshake. I was expecting more of a crushed ice smoothie. But they use frozen yogurt in all their smoothies. Overall, we had a great experience and I highly recommend it.

The menu features fantastic breakfast and lunch classics, all prepared with quality ingredients. The coffee never stopped. I love this place! The interior is so fancy and the service is very friendly! I got a caramel frappe & 2 eggs any style and it did not disappoint! The eggs were cooked perfectly, and the sausage links & hashbrowns were so delicious to eat! The pancakes definitely had a buttermilk flavor into every bite! My waitress was very friendly and calm. I left a tip with the attached note! Her service is definitely wonderful, and I wish this place the best in the future

Almost every weekend, my husband and I find ourselves drawn back to our favorite brunch spot – a cozy, welcoming restaurant that feels like a second home. The food is simply outstanding, with each dish crafted to perfection, making it impossible to pick a favorite. What truly sets this place is the warmth of the service. From the moment we step in, we’re greeted like a family. The staff is attentive without being overbearing, and there is a genuine sense of care in everything they do. It’s a place where you can relax, knowing you’re in good hands. To top it all off, the owner is always there a kind gracious man who never fails to make us feel special.

Discovering this modern and clean restaurant was like finding a hidden gem. The staff here were very pleasant, took our order and made me and my colleague feel comfortable during our stay. The food was delicious and the portions were large, so we ate to our fill and had to bring back leftovers. Although it’s not close to my home, I will definitely go back if I’m ever in the area.
