This cafe is so cute! The staff (Sam when I was there) are super friendly and efficient. They have a good list of drinks to chose from and some yummy pastries! The have some snack options as well as small sandwiches and salads. Decently priced for a local shop! Awards program if you attend frequently (10th coffee free). There is indoor seating and an outdoor seating area (small space but available)

Pros: Nice ambiance, coffee is okay & very friendly staff.
Cons: No easy parking if you aren’t a hotel guest (you have to pay to use a garage), food is of the ‘heat & eat’ variety, food is also not AT ALL good.

I ordered 3 different things: florentine egg sandwich, bacon jamwich, and an elderberry & raspberry croissant. The croissant was meh… I literally couldn’t finish the other 2. Just go to the sheetz around the corner…

It works in a pinch, but they need to up their game. I got the breakfast bacon burrito $10. It was small, and there was very little bacon on it, and the bacon was not crispy, slightly undercooked. My coffee was fine, but had a ton grounds in the bottom. The egg puffs were decent, but small. The fruit cup was the bucket melon blend. The bagel sandwiches were very light on toppings.
Over all it wasn’t our favorite stop of the trip. This is JMU’s hotel, I’m calling for them to up their food and drink here, to keep up with their legendary campus reputation!

We had breakfast here during our stay at Madison Hotel. I had a Honey Lavender Latte and a bacon breakfast sandwich on a croissant. My husband had one with sausage and a regular coffee. We both enjoyed our orders. I was hesitant to order the drink not knowing what it was but it was delicious! I definitely tasted both the honey and the lavender.
Give them a try, you won’t be disappointed. There’s other items available to order, indoor and outside seating and a parking garage down the street.

Really enjoyed my buttered Croissant. It was light and tasty. We also ordered a dirty chai which was really good. Great place to do homework, read, or just chill.

Bit overpriced, but then most coffee places are. It’s gorgeous though, I had a hot coffee with my bf on a cold Saturday morning, there were board games and the bakery had variety. There’s a labour shortage so they didn’t have any breakfast options, docked a star for that. I hope they’re paying their staff the median rate, it’s a bad economy and everyone needs to survive. Service and food+coffee were good, might not revisit but it’s a good hangout/work spot

A great coffee shop! It’s located inside a hotel, and you need to park in a garage for this coffee shop, but it’s worth it.

The spinach and feta pastry was delicious, as well as the lavender matcha and the honey lavender latte.

This shop gets the job done, but I would not recommend. Service and atmosphere was fine, however poor parking and access. Coffee is mediocre. Tried the croissant and cinnamon roll, both tasted a day old, and the cinnamon roll was very undercooked and doughy. Was traveling through, but will try a local shop next time.

Nice atmosphere, music was a bit loud if you want to study there though. I tried their “espresso brownie” ($4) and was disappointed with not even a hint of espresso.

I love grace + main. The coffee is always really good and the service is always friendly! I love sitting in there and seeing the college happen around me. It’s a great place to eat, catch up with friends, or study.
