Had such a great time at this Irish pub! ☘️ The service was fantastic and the drinks were amazing—especially the Lucky Charm . The food was just as impressive; everything we tried was so good. It was also the perfect location for a day date—great vibes, delicious food, and amazing drinks. Definitely a spot worth checking out!

Pub Perfection in Matthews, NC
Started off with a fresh-baked pretzel that was golden, soft, and just the right amount of salty. The outside had that perfect chew, while the inside stayed pillowy — especially good with the creamy dipping sauce. Simple, warm comfort food done right.
Then came the Jameson Burger — a total showstopper. Juicy beef patty stacked high with smoky whisky-sautéed onions, crisp bacon, melted cheese, and fresh veggies, all hugged by a perfectly toasted bun. Every bite had that blend of savory, sweet, and slightly boozy richness that hits every craving.
Verdict: A knockout combo — bold flavors, satisfying textures, and pure comfort food bliss. The atmosphere was also perfect! We ate on the front patio.

I took client here when we were looking at houses out in this area and this place is always good. It’s bar food so it’s nothing super fancy. But the staff is good and the food is good. I always get the onion rings because they’re yummy. This time I got the burger and it was really good.

Jake was our server and very friendly. He recommended the beef stew for me…and it was AMAZING!! 10/10 hit the spot with flavor and heartiness. I would order this again for sure. Also got a brownie sundae and it was super rich and tasty. A good amount of whip cream and ice cream to balance out the richness of the chocolate brownie.

Stopped in at Grace O’Malley’s for the first time and was blown away. I had the Jameson Burger and the Shaved Brown Butter Brussels with Bacon. Both were outstanding. The food, service, and atmosphere were amazing. Natalie provided exceptional service. Highly recommend!

We went in the middle of the afternoon on a Thursday, it was very quiet. There was plenty of staff. Everybody was very friendly getting ready for their evening rush.
We ordered fish and chips, Irish chicken, curry, and rice and raspberry doughnut cheesecake. The food was Absolutely delicious but the menu was really hard to choose from too many good options.
They have indoor seating, covered and uncovered, welcome dogs, and indoor seating as well.

An exceptional find for us! Grace O’Malley’s is a mere 15 minutes from our house. Located on the Main Street of Matthews, NC. The food and services were banging on all cylinders. The beer was ice cold and everything we were served was excellent. I had the Jameson burger (no bun for me) and the house salad. The fried pickles and the curry chips were enjoyed by everyone in our party. TWO THUMBS UP!

I really enjoyed the taste of the food, but I think the size of the appetizers was a little small, at least the fries.
Regarding the service, the only issue was that after the food arrived, they didn’t bring plates for us. I tried to ask for them several times, but all the staff were talking and never looked at my table.
Otherwise, the service would have been perfect.

Hearty, warming food – a great choice now that it’s starting to get cold, as they also have regular as well as hot alcoholic drinks ☺️
