They kid you not! Glorious food abounds and my lord they have desserts as sweet as their service! Stop in with anticipation and leave with no regrets!

Every time I come here, the food never disappoints ️✨ Everything tastes fresh and thoughtfully prepared, but the lobster roll is definitely a standout It’s packed with flavor and always hits the spot. And don’t even get me started on the desserts — they are absolutely incredible! The peanut butter cup treat is rich and indulgent, and the strawberry rhubarb pie is perfectly balanced between sweet and tart Truly heavenly!
One of my favorite little details is the model train theme I’ve always loved model trains, so seeing one actually running around the dining room adds such a fun and nostalgic touch. It makes the whole experience feel cozy, unique, and memorable. Great food, amazing sweets, and a charming atmosphere — I always look forward to coming back

We’re huge fans of all of the locations, however the past couple of years we have not been happy with this one. I’m thrilled to say that yesterday was a much better experience overall. Food was good, server was super friendly, and it didn’t smell bad in there as it has previously. We were very happy with everything and will be back again soon. Check out our vlog from this visit on Hammocks to Coasters on YouTube.

Brought my grandson for his birthday and to experience “eat dessert first!”. We had a fun time! Once the waiter knew it was his birthday, they paid extra attention to him, presenting him with a huge slice of strawberry pie! He also ordered his favorite dessert to bring home. After his pie, we ordered lunch and realized we were very full from dessert but still enjoyed our food. Great food and fun time!

This place is my favorite in Waterville so far. The food is amazing- I had the Governor’s Chicken sandwich this time. The pickled onions and sauce on it are amazing. Fries are perfect. I also had the Boston Crene Bomb which was insanely good!! Service was kind as always. Thank you!

Dined there and let the waitress know we were on a tight time limit. We had to order, eat and be on our way in less than 1 hr. She urged the kitchen to get our order out quickly, even getting our order out sooner than the larger party that arrived before us. She began to get worried when our food wasn’t out with almost just 20 minutes left, but she continued checking with the kitchen. She then came promptly out with our order, allowed us to pay as the food was delivered and left travel bags, all so we could leave as soon as we finished. She was great and really cared. Plus my fried chicken bacon jam sandwich was delicious!

We had a great late morning breakfast at the Governor’s on our trek to Quebec City. Nicole, our server was a sweetheart and took good care of us. Another winner was the Old-fashion corned beef hash w/ two sunny-side up eggs & toast. I grew up on canned Prudence corned beef hash, which now I realize is garbage. Governor’s is absolute homemade w/ chunks of beef, diced potato and onion. Didn’t have a need for the pastry but they sure looked good. It appeared lots of locals were there and that’s always a good sign. Thanks Gov & Nicole.

This review is for the breakfast buffet on Sunday mornings at 8am until noon. It’s $15.50 per person plus pay for your drink and tax but it’s all you can eat and many various options. It is very busy on Sunday mornings so if you don’t like crowds or waiting then this isn’t place for you but I absolutely recommend it, the prices are reasonable and all you can eat.
Parking is easy, they are attached to a hotel so plenty of parking spots. A lot of stairs to get to the restaurant unless you come from out back. The restaurant itself has good food, not only the breakfast buffet. They also have a bakery which is famous for the peanut butter pie.
Overall, 4 Stars! <3

The food was stale and bland gotten from hannafords right next door charging an arm and a leg for Nasty food. Do not go here if you want Lyme disease found a tick in my coffee I swear on my life and to god they put it in my drink. You could get any other disease here they don’t wash your dishes to regulation standards.

I have been in for dinner 3x and ordered delivery from them 1x. The Thursday buffet was 2 of the times. We find it can be pretty good. I always check their Facebook to see what is being served first. I would recommend going right at the start of the buffet though or you may not get all the options. The food in the restaurant is pretty good. Even with delivery we enjoyed the food. The wait staff can be a hit or miss as well as wait time.
