Great little diner to stop for breakfast. It was quick service and a full menu. I had the French toast and bacon, egg, and cheese breakfast sandwich. Smaller place, but I enjoy a cozy spot, so I didn’t mind. Staff were all very friendly, and everything came out quick. Would absolutely recommend and would go again.

I have been going to the Gourmet since 1970 as a youngster. Always good food and friendly staff.
It’s good comfort food and plenty of it.
There are times when it can take a bit for your food when staff is short. However their friendliness more than makes up for it.
Sundays are busy. Church goers flock there after services.

Great food with great service. Has a warm and welcoming community atmosphere- if you live in the area, you’ll see someone you know! Our waitress Sarah was wonderfully attentive, regardless of the completely packed place. Definitely will visit again.

The Gourmet is an institution. Classic dinner experience, its been there my whole life and more. I live out west now but have to get breakfast here at least once every time I come. This time around I got a benedict. The eggs florentine with added Canadian bacon. Their hollandaise sauce is excellent. I also got the loaded home fries with onions, peppers and more hollandaise. I was a glutton to be sure but I finished it all!
Cash only so bring your bills! They can get pretty full during the brunch/lunch rush.
