We were not sure what to expect at this location as we did not care for our visit to the Fruitville location. But, we were very happy we gave this one a try.
Located in the Rosemary District this restaurant is the complete opposite of the Fruitville location. The inside was beautiful with plenty of seating, televisions, and an upstairs area for larger parties.
My wife ordered chicken nuggets while I ordered a cheeseburger (per my usual, it seems). We also ordered the large fries at the recommendation of our server since they are so large they are shareable. She was not kidding. The portion of fries was quite big. My burger was cooked as I asked and was seasoned nicely. My wife enjoyed her chicken nuggets as where cooked with just enough batter to not overpower the taste of the chicken.
This Food+Beer has definitely earned our repeat business.

Waitress and staff friendly and amazing. Great location and fair pricing. Plenty of seating inside and loved that outside sitting was an option too. Grouper bites were great. The chicken parm was phenomenal but the pasta with it was very dry and not hot/warm. Had a few drinks and they were all on point and made just right.

Was in town to visit some friends. Walked past this place and the vibes were just calling my name. Once we found this spot we just kept coming back. Plus it was in walking distance. Stopped in and had some drinks and a small bite. The bartender was super friendly and gave us suggestions on where else to while we were in town. The inside of this spot is so cool. They have a little loft up top too..definitely an everyday VIBE! Price varies if you order drinks

Josh your failing as manager to justify the order that came to my door for 27 dollar and call it a conspiracy bc you can hide be hide door dash. You’ve “taken cheesestakes home like this all the time and knew what it looked like when you boxed up” it’s a 27 dollar sandwich before tip. my fiance and I have spent over 1000 dollars at your location in the last year. Your terrible. You should find a different job your running this place into the ground.
I will refund my order and tell everyone I know to never come to your restaurant and seek out the owners let them know as well.”

Fantastic place. Great wings and chips w dip. Buckets with very cold beer. TVs fill every wall so many different sports on. Steve is the GM and runs a very tight ship. Lexi and Lauren were fantastic serving. One of the chefs even stopped by to say hello. Great atmosphere. Full arcade with a ton of games too.

Came in for the Monday $6.99 cheeseburger special. I asked for well done and did not receive a hockey puck, thank you! It was tasty, juicy and pickles, lettuce etc. was fresh. My fountain pepsi was not flat but sweet and effervescent and our server was very lovely. No high pressure upsells. Its a newer location so tables and booths are in good shape. The only negative was the hvac dripped on my arm while eating but it was a very humid day! We’ll be back to try the Fall Flavors.

Last minute choice to come here later in the night while on a family vacation. Usually this would be a spot that I’d go for drinks with friends or late night dinner. I came with younger siblings which it was still had open seating around 9ish. The youngest one thought it was too loud, but overall everyone loved their food besides the desert which was not liked by the adults and kids.
The server was nice and removed it from the bill. If I was in the area again I’d come back for drinks and food!

I had dinner at food+beer in the Rosemary District, and it was fantastic! I tried the Korean Beef Bowl, and it was so flavorful—just the right mix of sweet and savory. The desserts were the real star, though—absolutely delicious and worth every bite!
The vibe of the place was great, super laid-back but still stylish, and the staff was really friendly and attentive. If you’re in Sarasota and looking for a cool spot with amazing food, I’d definitely recommend checking this place out!

Stopped by for dinner with my son before a movies and was pleasantly surprised. Excellent food and a very nice beer choice. Highly recommend. I’ve only been to one but I’m planning my second trip already.

In 2019 this local chain was known for having a $5 burger. Now everything costs way more, and the service is consistently so mid. There’s yummy items but it seems like no one has any customer service training? The place has beer in the name. Went in when it wasn’t busy and ordered apps and mains, but the server couldn’t answer any questions about drinks, nor did she ask a bartender. We were just told to scan a QR code. My cell phone was at a repair place but no physical menu could be produced. Do they just not want to sell beer? Our question was “do you have a stout?” the reply was “scan this code”. So we just got water instead of beers with our burgers and fries.
If the point of this restaurant is the staff outfits are tight, why not just hit up Hooters? Also, they leave the volume turned on to way too many competing TVs, and the house rum is straight up disgusting and not like any fancy nor cheap brand of top shelf nor well rum I have ever had. Be sure to specify your rum. Overall, my review is: this is a good place to get take out from, and open your own beer at home to drink with it.
