I went to the café on February 19th and was very well received. I didn’t go for dinner, but for coffee, as the name of the place itself suggests. Today, February 20th, I arrived to have coffee again at the same time, 9 pm, and was prevented from having a coffee, even though there were several empty tables and it wouldn’t have been a problem for the establishment. I don’t know the name of the man who greeted me, but he was extremely rude and lacked any polite manners.

They were able to accommodate me without a booking on a Friday evening which was great. I had a nice meal here. There are several gluten-free options on the menu that are suitable for coeliacs and others that can be adapted.

Very good food, also nice vegan options for the pizza! Prices are okay I guess. Veeeery kind and nice service. Only the tables and chairs on the outside could be a little bit more comfy. But definitely worth it spending your dinner here

Gotham Cafe has been around for as long as I can remember living in Dublin (30+ years) and you can see why. Great location, great restaurant, great menu choice, great prices and great staff. Food is really good and the choice on the menu is excellent with something for everyone. I had “the bowry” pizza which was so good and would love to try another pizza the next time I’m back. Very reasonably priced food for where its located and I can see why its been so popular for so many years. Definitely be back soon.

I came for the gluten free pizza and unfortunately they didn’t have that … It was supposed to be my birthday gift … The rest of the menu is just regular stuff like salads and fries… pretty much found at all restaurants… maybe try and be here around noon for Gluten free pizza?! I came at 2:55 p.m. and they said they ran out.

Lovely little restaurant (can be a bit tight at the back of the restaurant), a bit on the pricey side, but the food is delicious. Definitely recommend the Brooklyn Bridge Pizza and the Chargrilled Chicken & Guacamole Flatbread.
