We’ve moved from 1034 First Street to 3200 Bayshore Rd. (in the Benicia Industrial Park area). Currently, we are only doing pickups at this location. We also have a sit down restaurant across town at 810 W. 9th St. across from Alvarez Park (where the boat launch is). We serve Hawaiian comfort food, plate lunch – 2 scoops rice, mac salad and meat. We are known for our Loco Moco – fresh ground beef patties, homemade thick brown gravy, savory and smokey Kalua Pig and our delicious BBQ Chicken. SPAM Musubi is another favorite and add Wasabi sauce to give it that right amount of kick.
Laid-back nook with a tropical vibe & Hawaiian-style staples, plus outdoor seating.

I got the mixed plate, my friend got the mini KATSU plate and we shared a Shaka “garlic” fries. I was little disappointed with the portion size. Usually it’s big, didn’t get a lot of meat and I got three pieces of spam, I guess I expected something more. They were super busy so we waited a bit for our food. But, I was told they also get a lot of online and phone orders as well. But, it also looked like they short staffed. So when we got our fries it was cold. And barely tasted the garlic and furikaki.
It was nice that they had a public restroom but it was weird that you had to go behind the counter to get there. Seems like an inconvenience for the staff and the customers. But still a plus that they have one.
All the food we ordered was delicious and I’ll definitely go back if possible when we go to the vet. We got an order of spam musubi that we ate in the car. It’s nice that they slice a typical musubi into 3 pieces, so you get 6 pieces total. But the smaller slices are easier to eat, especially in the car. Their kalua pork was more bbq than what I’m used to but it was still delicious. The combo I got had hamburger steak with gravy and BBQ pork, with rice and Mac salad. The portions were generous so I ate the hamburger and a few bites of pork then had enough leftover to have lunch the next day.
Olivia gave nice attentive service and the food was excellent. I had the spam, rice and eggs with a side of their homemade pineapple vinaigrette (not pictured) and I couldn’t resist leaving without their Ube Butter Mochi (pictured)…I had a wonderful afternoon enjoying it by the water.
We ordered BBQ mix with only two choice of meat. Pork and Kahlúa pig and katsu chicken. The young girl who brought us the food was the only ounce friendly.
The food overpriced was just okay nothing to celebrate about. Katsu chicken though was burnt. They should really change their sign to not being rated the best Hawaiian in Solano county. Nothing nabout this restaurant is Hawaiian. Disappointed
