Eaten here a couple times. Not a huge rib or steak guy so my go to is pulled pork and it is awesome here. Sure the bread falls apart and it gets real messy but it is really a great sandwich. The staff is always top notch. Don’t expect a fine dining type of vibe here. I wouldn’t call this place a “dive” but the decor inside has a very dated feel. But I think this is what gives this local place its charm.

Listen I’m here to tell you as a Georgia native I have tasted some of the best barbecue pork and smoked meats, and up until tonight I thought the south takes the cake on barbecue but at GORKYS restaurant they are ages ahead of anything I’ve ever put in this mouth from the south and they even take it up a notch with the hospitality! My waitress MJ brought me all the sauces they offered to make sure that when the plate of mounded greatness hit my table I didn’t have to sample . Shoot I didn’t even have to chew! These guys/gals know what they are doing!!!!!!

Gorkys is amazing. Its well worth the drive for the amazing food. We had the half chicken and the elk burger. Botn cooked perfectly and the portions were good. The patio is beautiful. They have both covered and uncovered seating. And they allowed the pup to join.

Stumbled upon this place and decided to try it out. Hands down some of the best BBQ I’ve had in a long time! The ribs were amazing and had an Elk Burger on special which was also very good. All of the sides were delicious and the staff was super friendly and helpful. I don’t live close by but will be making a special trip again to try more of the menu. If you are in the area, go visit!

Gorky’s has great food, with a variety of good BBQ sauces to choose from. Anita was our bartender — she was amazing! Couldn’t recommend her enough. The rest of the staff were also so nice and personable. Will definitely be back!

We have been wanting to stop here to get some BBQ for some time now, and we’re glad we finally did. Had the full rack with Gorky sauce, fries, and greens. Greens were excellent and tangy, fries were like Kennywood’s, and the ribs were meaty and so soft that it melted in your mouth and fell of the bone!!! No more driving past this place. Loved it!!!

This is a pretty good place. I’m not much into BBQ so I don’t stop at many. I’m sorry I know it’s terrible of me to say. But, I’m just not into it. This place was alright though so don’t shy away from stopping.

Waitresses behind the bar were exceptionally funny, they basically chose our meals for us as we’d never been before. The fried pickled spears were to die for. The burger both brisket and ghost pepper cheese were delicious. Thanks for having us it was great. Love my t shirts

Got in the restaurant just before it was about to close on a weekday during a business trip to Pittsburgh. They were cleaning tables and there were no other people inside when I walked in. I asked for take out, and the host lady was very friendly and ask me to sit down and eat (I am grateful). Ordered the second item on the menu (pile-on burger?). Anyway, the burger was fantastic, stood about 5” tall on the plate – with grilled onion, bbq brisket, pull pork, cole slaw, and a grilled burger. The burger itself had a nice, tasty crust (very nicely done), the brisket and pull pork are very nice, even the onion was tasty with a nice grill smoky flavor. Overall, it was a great and memorable meal. Glad I stopped in.
