The food was delicious. The staff were great. Appetizer platter, two entrees (rice included with entrees), naan, and two drinks came out to ~$85 after taxes and tip

The restaurant was pretty bare, only us and one or two other tables at 5:30 pm on a Tuesday, but they had a lot of delivery drivers picking up orders and seemed busy that way. The whole place smelled amazing. Everything was very fresh. Naan was crisp and chewy. Chicken and lamb was tender. Everything was well seasoned, although the vindaloo wasn’t quite as sharp as I’ve had elsewhere.

Wow!! My first time in Minneapolis and I was encouraged to try this restaurant. I am speechless! The naan was out of this world! So garlicky and delicious. The Chicken 65… wow!! So yummy, sweet, and the chicken was sooo tender. Definitely get this dish!! I also got the chicken tikka starter. The portion size was well worth the price! Cant wait to come back when im in the area again!! Excellent food!

We had not visited Gorkha Palace in a while, only due to the distance from our home. We were in the mood for Indian and the few Indian restaurants near us had disappointed us on our recent visits so we decided to try Gorkha again. This meal was most certainly up to the high standards set by previous dining experiences. This remains one of the best Twin City Indian restaurants, in our opinion.

I ordered take out today with chicken tikka masala and garlic naan and both were fantastic! Perfectly cooked basmati rice, rich and flavorful chicken tikka, and delicious garlicky naan. Truly nothing to be desired! And the customer service was also very friendly and welcoming! Definitely recommend, and I will certainly be returning.

Cozy place. Limited parking. Great food. This stuff is way too spicy for me and I got it mild. You’ve been warned.

I could do without the automatic 20% overcharge. Just add that extra fee into the price of all items. Simple. A $15 entree is now an $18 entree and nobody would really care. But when it’s laid out at the end, in total, you absolutely know it’s going to affect business/tips. And you’re encouraged to tip over and above the 20% surcharge.

The food was really good. The service was fast and friendly. Besides the surcharge, I loved it.

I’ve only ordered takeout so I can’t speak to the service or the atmosphere. The food is amazing! Really hits the spot. The staff seem very friendly and helpful when I’ve interacted with them for takeout orders. Looking forward to ordering again! Their parking lot makes it convenient to visit their location.

The owner Anil is very conscious of appreciating his customers. The food is very very delicious and well done. Good proportions & Prices are good. Easy convenient location with its own off street parking. My favorite dish is Samosa Chaat. & If you have never had one try a Lassi drink ( very tasty treat ) kinda a Indian style milk shake, but alot healthier lol…

This is some of the best Indian food that I have ever eaten! The Chicken Tikka Masala raised my expectations of other Indian restaurants, and of course, the Garlic Naan was delightful. My date introduced me, and we both had a great time!

Gorkha Palace was one of my wife’s and my favorite restaurants for over a decade. It’s changed and the food isn’t as good as it used to be. We ordered what we usually do, I got the chicken choyla (formerly spicy newari choyla), and it wasn’t nearly as good as it used to be – they removed the potatoes, and the raita now was like carrots and tomatoes in a bowl of milk, it used to be thick. The momos were still good, but the tomato chutney was not – it tasted bland and different. Many other things on the menu that have changed as well. I hope they consider some of this feedback, and the feedback like this on Reddit, and make some changes to bring back the great food it was known for.

Wonderful visit. We were one of two tables on a Sunday afternoon. The service was good. We LOVED our food. It was great to see many vegan and vegetarian options clearly labeled. The green peas tofu dish was delicious. Highly recommend!
