Very authentic flavors, authentic street tacos, we got the quesabirria taco and chicken nachos for $25. Good portion sizes too. The nachos especially were delicious; good flavor in the chicken and they loaded it up with queso blanco

People are always friendly and the prices are great. 2$ tacos on Tuesday. I like the Al pastor and Lengua. The quesadillas are good and you can load it with toppings of your choice! 10/10

First time at Gordos and we showed up hungry. The food? Backed up every craving. I’m picky about seasoning and they nailed it—meat, toppings, even the consommé for the quesabirria was packed with flavor.
We tried the carne asada torta (so good), three street tacos—al pastor with mango pico, carnitas with classic pico, and pollo asado with cilantro and onion—and that quesabirria? Chef’s kiss.
Staff was patient, gave great recs, and the place was spotless—even scrubbing behind cooktops during cleanup. That kind of pride earns loyalty. Chill atmosphere, great food, and we’ll definitely be back—with friends.

Gordos has the best Mexican food in PA. I grew up on the west coast and really struggled to find a good Mexican restaurant after moving to the East Coast. But the street tacos, burritos, & nachos are perfectly authentic. The spicy marinated pork (which I would like to emphasize is not spicy, but marinated heartily & deliousily) is the first I’ve even been able to find that did not have pineapple in it – and is literally just the best pork. The birria beef is great in everything. Truly the best restaurant in New Castle.
Super quick service and amazing staff.

Bright, fresh ingredients summoned us in – this was our first time at Gordo’s. The menu is posted above the counter with what to do to order, step by step. We ordered, sat down, tried the food, and it was GREAT! They served our food with homemade comsommé for dipping. Our main dish came with refried beans and rice, and several hot sauces sat on each table. The restaurant and bathrooms were clean, the staff was very friendly, and we can’t wait to try other items.

We used Gordos as catering for our wedding and they were amazing to work with! Everything came right on time and was kept nice and warm throughout the event! For $13 a person (at 110 people) there was enough food to feed almost 150 people! It was all customizable to us and they were super easy to work with. 10/10 recommend to anyone!

I’ve been going here since they opened and I can comfortably say this is not just the best Mexican restaurant in New Castle but definitely the best I’ve had east of the Mississippi. Everything is fresh, authentic, and inexpensive; portions are huge for the price, especially their meats. Their Horchata is fantastic. Every time I’ve been here, even at lunch, it’s always busy but the line moves fast.

Great people who serve great food. It is authentic, and it is very good. Got 2 tacos, lengua (beef tongue) and birria. Chips come with a small salsa, and I added a small queso for $2.50. I also got Spanish rice and refried beans. Altogether my meal was around $16.

Excellently tasty street tacos. Chorizo was my favorite – it has amazing flavor even without toppings or salsa. The lunch special cost me $11.32 and included 3 street tacos, rice, and beans.
