Where do I begin I was hyped to try this place, I have been talking about this place for a while and I finally had the chance from all the hype on instagram to try it. After finally getting this for dinner. I was extremely disappointed like bad. I ordered a side of fries well done, they were soggy And tbh the fries were kinda undercooked .Then I got the Combo #1 and wow super soggy not even warm what’s so ever. The buns were extremely burnt and cold I had to pick some of the burnt parts off to enjoy it , The Mac and cheese was cold. I paid for extra ranch and extra sauce didn’t get it. I legit had no dipping sauce for none of my meal. I heard they give you honey for the sliders , didn’t get that either. This place really was disappointing. I would love to give it another try but tbh don’t think I will nor will I recommend this place to anyone.
For a side of fries and combo #1 and the extra sauces that I didn’t get I paid $26. Complete waste. Ended up eating cereal.

My husband was in the area and was smart enough to bring me food home. It is zesty, tasty, fresh and delicious — holds it own (and is better than some) against LA hot chicken. And the Cajun Mac and cheese is WOW. So not only is this delicious food, it also made me love my husband a little bit more. Worth the drive!

Gourmet food with great customer service being served out of a food truck in South Oxnard. You get your bang for your buck here so much food and packed with flavor in every bite being cooked up fresh every day, order by order. The boys also help out their community and you get a free high quality sticker with every purchase. I’ll wait in line no matter what and the food will be out within 10 minutes, hot and fresh. My favorite is the Gordos Fries as it has a little bit of everything chopped up and I can dig in with a fork if I’m on the go or eating in my car but if I’m going back to my house I’ll order a sandwich as the sweet Hawaiian rolls complement the spicy chicken great. MUST TRY IF YOU’RE IN OXNARD SUPPORT LOCALS NOT TRANSPLANTS FROM LOS ANGELES.

I got the mac and cheese and was really disappointed. It was dry, barely warm, and didn’t even taste cheesy. The first time I tried it, it was way better: saucy and full of flavor. Definitely feels like it’s gone downhill. I gave it away to my boyfriend and even he didn’t like it enough to finish it. Wouldn’t recommend ordering it now.

Last week my boyfriend and i stopped at gordos on the way back from six flags, my bf had been following them on insta for some time and had kept mentioning it and how badly he wanted to try it. we went when it was raining and ate in the car, the young man running the register was very nice, and accommodating to a severe pineapple allergy (their coleslaw has fresh pineapple) our food was done super quick and as soon as those boxes got to my car we were in awe. the mac and cheese alone is honestly the best mac n cheese i have ever had in my entire life. the chicken was so juicy and flavorful while maintaining that perfectly crispy breading to lock the flavor in. i didn’t get a single bad french fry on my plate, every single one was big and thick without being burnt. My boyfriend and i were avid raising canes goers, but after trying gordos i don’t think we will ever be back there.

I put corn because it’s a free add-on and it’s very delicious. Really adds to the textures of the flavor. The chicken is really tender. I always go with regular sometimes spicy and I highly recommend you don’t skip the pineapple coleslaw the mac & cheese the best mac & cheese I’ve ever had fries with the seasoning and it’s really good an Oxnard staple i can’t recommend it enough
