The only thing that was really really good was the shrimp and the fries to a certain degree but the fish itself needed more seasoning, but it was still good with lemon, tartar sauce and vinegar and the chicken tender was ok but not worth an extra four dollars almost For one chicken tender.
I would go back again, but only for the shrimp and the fries. They also have some overpriced drinks.

Had a great time and late nite. Staff are friendly, sauces are delicious and the shrimp/fish were cooked to utter perfection! Won’t be getting the chicken next time; the seafood is the star here (and raising canes chicken is far better)

If I could give the food a 30 out 10, I would. It was OUTSTANDING. The flavors, the crunch, the speed, and customer service were all impeccable. This was the best fast food I have everrrrr experienced. People can say what they want about Gordon Ramsay but he knows food and he got it right. I can not wait to return. Parking is a little tricky for downtown Dc but it is a win if you make your way inside. The lemonade and chocolate brownie shake was amazing as well

McDicks filet o’ fish is better than this! This meal was one of the most disappointing meals ive had in D.C. I wasn’t bothered by the price until I received the order and saw the pathetic fish strips. I honestly thought they accidentally sent me chickent strips. The fish flavour wasn’t bad because it was flavourless, the fries were like any fry you can order at any fast food place, the cocktail sauce was so boring I thought it was ketchup, and the tartar sauce tasted like mayo with some dill flakes. I love tartar sauce so i ordered extra, they charged me $2.55 for a 2 ounce container! I also ordered a biscoff small shake, dont bother with this overpriced drink, 5.00 bucks for 8 oz of noring milk, dont think so. If someone cooked this for Gordon Ramsey, he would throw it against a wall and ask for his money back. If you’re in the mood for fish and chips, Google search for a pub in the area, I promise it will be better, Long John Silvers would be better. It’s obvious GR didnt come up with the recipe for any of this..

Food was really good here, we shared the lobster and prawn with truffle fries and it was delightful, the food came quick and nice and hot. In total it came to 31 dollars after tax which is a bit more than what you’d pay for somewhere else but well worth it to try atleast once. The tar tar sauce is so good !

Sométimes chain restaurant quality varies but not here. The fish was perfectly cooked. Flaky and crispy at the same time. Great portions and believe it or not the bathrooms were immaculate. Great experience.

My wife and I placed a to-go order yesterday, and when we got home, we noticed some portion issues. It was too late to return to the store, and I should have checked before leaving. I came back the next day to speak with the manager, Danielle C., and she handled everything exceptionally well. She reviewed the photo I showed her, agreed that the portion was not correct, and immediately took care of the situation.

Danielle C. went above and beyond to make things right, and her professionalism and care truly stood out. The food here is always fresh, and her customer service is top-tier. Danielle C. is an asset to your company and the Wharf location in Washington, D.C. Please recognize her hard work and commitment to excellent service. Thank you again, Danielle!

When visiting my son in the Virginia/Washington DC area, we dined at Hell’s Kitchen & Gordon’s Fish & Chips. Gordon’s Fish & Chips is a fast food spot. I’ve dined at total of three times. I’ve tried the fish, shrimp, and chicken. The food is good and freshly prepared (made to order). The prices are reasonable (approximately $20 per person) The lemonade is delicious! In my opinion, both times the restroom needed attention.

I have wanted to try this spot for a while now. Decided to stop by on my way back from VA. I had heard that the food was somewhat overpriced and was fine with that, until I received my order. You order at a 1 of 3 kiosks. I ordered the fish and chips combo but decided to add fried shrimp to my meal. The price was $3.95 (I believe) not to mention drinks were $5.95. I get my food and I see one piece of shrimp. I go back to the counter to ask a worker about this and she tells me that this is what you get for the extra price. I was shocked. It would have been nice for this to be clarified while placing the order. My husband got the fish and shrimp combo and shared a shrimp with me. The food was pretty good. The tartar and curry mango sauces were also good. We spent $60 in total. A one and done for us, but glad to have tried it.

Absolutely Outstanding!
Gordon Ramsay’s Fish & Chips is an experience worth every bite. The fish is cooked to perfection—crispy golden batter on the outside and tender, flaky fish inside. The chips are thick-cut, hot, and seasoned beautifully, pairing perfectly with the signature sauces. The sauces took it another level. Especially mango curry sauce(Highly recommended )Everything tastes fresh, flavorful, and made with care. The staff are friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere captures the fun, lively spirit you’d expect from a Gordon Ramsay. Highly recommended ❤️
