Great BBQ makes people happy! Mike’s passion is feeding people. Homemade sides. Mike tries to locally source as much as possible. Mike has visited 43 out of 50 states in the search for great BBQ. Mike served in the Marines and is extremely patriotic. Currently one of Mike’s 5 children is serving in the Marines as an officer. America is the land of opportunity and Mike feels blessed to be born in here. Mike’s parents are Irish immigrants and he credits his parents with his strong work ethic. Mike’s meats are smoked low n slow with seasoned local wood. The wood is seasoned for a year for the perfect smoke flavor. Winter hours. Saturday only or until sold out. We got a half a chicken and we got pulled pork. We also got macaroni and cheese, coleslaw and potato salad! Everything was homemade and everything was great! He also gave us a hefty amount as well as comfortable as well as our two drinks free. He is a very nice man! Very recommended!

We stopped by Gordo Mike’s bbq looking for a place to grab something to eat and keep going but we were surprise about the quality and taste of this place!!
We had the special ribs, pulled pork and Italian sausage, the pulled pork is out of this world! It also came with two sides, I usually don’t like Mac and cheese but this one are amazing, not sure how he makes it or what kind of cheese.
We end buying a bunch of his special sauce, he explained us how he makes it, everything looks natural, we will order some in the future I’m sure about that.
If you have the chance while you are around make a stop here you won’t regret it!

So freaking good! We finally got the chance to pop in for lunch today and I have to say, tastes as good as it smells. Mike is a delight and working so hard to incorporate as many local ingredients as possible in the food and decor. The chicken is so juicy and smokey you don’t want or need sauce. The pulled pork is also a winner, some of the best we’ve had in years. The potato salad, bbq beans and Mac and cheese (with bits of the smoked chicken in it today!) were all fantastic. Can’t wait to bring all our friends when they come to visit! An absolute must try.

Stopped by today to pick up some ribs along with baked beans and chicken. Received a taste of Mac and cheese with pulled pork that was FANTASTIC! The Mac and cheese had a nice subtle smokiness and the pulled pork was tender and flavorful. Had the ribs later on in the day and couldn’t believe the char, tenderness and flavor. First time visit but won’t be the last. Highly recommend for excellent bbq and a very welcoming atmosphere.

Gordo Mikes has fantastic smoke meats and delicious sides, including smoked Mac and cheese–WoW!! Food is hot n ready for easy stop in to go! All food is prepped and cooked on site – no store bought sides at all!! Highly recommend the ribs, pulled pork and the fresh chicken!! Mikes BBQ sauce is his secret blend and can’t get enough of that! When are the jars for sale coming out Mike!?!?

LEGIT BBQ!!! I’m a connoisseur of a number of things: tacos, coffee, beer, spirits, pizza, and BBQ to name a few. This is serious BBQ. From the ribs to the pulled pork to the chicken (haven’t had the brisket yet, hoping to soon) the food is delicious. The sides are top notch as well, not always the case when you find the good meats. And Mike, the owner, is a class act. Really warm guy that appreciates the business. I hope for the sake of the area that everyone goes to Mike’s and supports this place!

We’ve gotten food twice now and have been pleased and full each time. My kids love the Mac and cheese side. We love the pulled pork, both the dinner and the sandwich, as well as the ribs and the sausage. Ok, you can’t go wrong getting food here!
