Found this hidden spot to try these gorditas….. The ones with chicharrron are bomb especially the one with red salsa got 2 of those. The chicharron verde ia good too.

Parking is easy. Service is friendly. Tables are clean. The ambiance is neutral because it feels like you are where you are: A parking lot in an industrial zone on top of a major freeway exchange. The menu offers a lot of options. A lot of great options. I had a difficult time choosing between all the options. I didn’t order but want to try the Chuleta con Huevo Gordita and also the Rajas Gordita. I love that they accent the Gordita with Nopalitos. I didn’t love that they stuff cheese in each one gratuitously but the cheese was minor and inoffensive. I even enjoyed it although I am not a fan of having melted cheese on my Mexican food. The Gorditas are a nice moderate size. I would love them to be half the size so I can enjoy more at one sitting but they are very well made. I will be returning and recommending. I also plan to order “Charolas” to-go. I think that these gorditas would be a major hit in my office or at a party.

Service was great she even offered to turn on the ac inside the little store for us to eat. The food was not what I expected. Chicharron wasnt crunchy, flavor wasn’t really there just ok. The asada also had little to no flavor. Good to try but not worth going back.

Not the quality we were expecting. The Carne Asada was low quality and very chewy and the Al Pastor wasn’t authentic at all..worse was the Gordita masa was very thin almost like a normal tortilla is. The Gordita itself should be thicker hence the name. Plus way to expensive. We bought 2 Gorditas and it was more than 20.00 bucks. I would keep looking there’s better quality and choices. Sorry I wish it was better. My wife my is from Guerrero and its not like I don’t get authentic Mexican food at home. But we were out making deliveries so we thought we would try it.

DO NOT GO HERE, worse service you can have, the lady taking your order, doesn’t not comprehend the order you are requesting on your food, instead she is giving what she wants, even you let her know you’re allergic to the ingredients, and not only, that she try to pocket the money, when you pay, and you ask for the change back. Very rude, screaming and making false accusations, when she’s the one making the mistakes. Of making the customer have food poisoning to the allergies of the ingredients. The owner instead of interfering, acted like nothing was happening, or said if need help, he allowed the cashier to harass the customer. It’s a horrible experience. 1st and last time I will try this place. I will give them minus stars, but you can’t

I love this place. La Baja is super convenient for all my truck drivers. This is the best place to get your food. Parking is super convenient. The service is top notch. They will get you in and out. Their Gorditas are the perfect on the go food. I highly recommend the chicharrón verde. But if you’re on the lighter side the vegetation option rajas con queso will not disappoint. Great flavor great price great service and easy access to my truckers on the go.
