Goras is an amazing place to be it presents itself as a mom and pop style diner experience completely centered on vegan junk food.
They’re currently hiring and looking to increase their foot traffic the food is 10/10 every time you might have to wait as their is usually only one person working the register and kitchen but all of them are great at making their menu items 🙂 the service is only a four out five because of wait time but please understand they’re very professional and kind at delivery your food

I LOVE GORA’S GRILL!!! So so so happy they reopened. They had closed down for a while and I was so upset, so when I drove by today and saw they had reopened I had to stop in. The menu is stacked with bangers, the vibe is great, and the staff is great. Prices are super reasonable too. I’ve had quite a bit of the menu and everything is delicious. I’m always a sucker for the Bird’s Nest burger and Masala Fries though! Any Ypsi, Ann Arbor, or Detroit area vegan NEEDS to come here, you won’t regret it!

Stopped by Gora’s Grill the other day and 10/10 I would recommend. We had the birds nest and they ended up giving us free French fries, both the nest and French fries were delicious. My favorite, the bun, best hamburger bun I’ve ever had. We also got to try the mango lassi and strawberry mint lemonade. The mango lassi had the classic flavor but less heaviness than one with dairy. The strawberry mint lemonade was fresh and you could taste all the individual ingredients. My boyfriend and I were supposed to attend a movie after dinner, so we picked up the food to eat in the car. We ended up enjoying the first bites so much we decided to skip the movie and spend more time savoring the meals (no joke) without being rushed! Go to Gora’s Grill, you won’t be disappointed!

I barely eat at vegan restaurants, because I’ve not had good experiences at them, but this one totally changed my perspective. Food is clearly fresh, and the taste is uniquely delicious. The staff are easy to communicate with and super accomodating. The menu is small enough to not overwhelm you by choices, but it is big enough also with great variety. I also have a mixed taste from both east and west but this place has it all. While I was eating I noticed that people are getting their to-go’s really fast. Definitely gonna be my regular eat-out spot.

A previously vegetarian restaurant that’s recently transitioned to an all-vegan establishment! That is truly amazing!
And the food is too! The Bird’s Nest burger is the best veggie burger I’ve had, distinct from a mock meat burger by being made of a veggie-blend chickpea fritter. I usually don’t like veggie burgers cuz they tend to get soft and mush, but these have a great taste and unique texture I find enjoyable. I also got the Chik’n burger that uses a soy-wheat protein that’s more flakey than uniform like with seitan, which makes for a great chicken alternative.
You can order a wrap and bowl with the proteins as well, like the Bird’s Nest fritters and chik’n 😀 Ordered with masala fries and a strawberry mint lemonade.
They’re prices are also great, 2 of any of their classic burgers for $10! I’ll definitely come back for more!

Couldn’t recommend more. A refreshing take on vegan junk food where fake meat isn’t the only option. A nice variety of options and the prices are incredible for a vegan place! We got massive amounts of food thinking the portions would be small based on the prices- we were wrong. Only a few tables but people cycle through pretty quickly.

Food was so great, and the price was definitely the most accessible I’ve seen for vegan food. We tried two of the burgers, two different fries, and two of the house drinks, and everything was soooo good. Will definitely be back to try something else!

Nanda and the team were so attentive to our questions about menu options due to food allergies. Nanda made some great recommendations and provided a wealth of information for us.
I ordered the fiesta burgers with fries, several sauces (Sweet Chilli, BBQ, No-Honey Mustard, and Cilantro Aioli), and topped it off with their yummy Brix black cherry cream soda.
This hit differently, it was one of the best vegetarian burgers, that was uniquely flavored, with fresh mouthwatering toppings. Let’s just say, that burger didn’t have a chance. I ate every bit of it.
Let me tell you the chilled atmosphere and inviting team and amazing food will have us coming back.

Really really yummy! Super vegan friendly, with an upbeat atmosphere. Employees are so nice, helping anyone new to the establishment and very clean interior. The Cajun black bean burger is really good in particular, but I would recommend the mint strawberry lemonade as well.
