If I could give this zero stars, I would on Wednesday afternoon around 3:30. I had called and heard that this was such a great family run Italian style pizza so I had ordered two Stromboli’s one vegetarian and the other beef I picked it up. had a nice conversation with Maria. The owner even ordered some extra sauce got home cut into it and as you will see by the pictures, the veggie had meat in it and the other one was completely not cooked. The dough wasn’t even cooked. I called back And offered to send photos and I was told that Maria had left and I was to call back we didn’t call back tonight to see if they could remake our order I had called and was put on hold for 10 minutes when Javier, who announced that he was, the manager said that his cook cooked it perfectly he remembers apparently he remembers every order and I said so you’re not interested in me sending you photos of where it wasn’t and you’re not interested in and rectifying this at all. It was an edible and he said no I’m not interested in it at all and hung up on me I will tell you do not spend one dollar here they don’t deserve your money not only when people make a mistake. They have no desire to correct it and I spent $42 on an edible food Again I truly believe in lifting people up that these people were horrible and they do not stand behind their product so I would definitely not go there.

Italian sub. For about $13 and change for a six inch sub to go. It was ok. I’d love to have a little more flavor besides the dressing that they had. Or the option to toast the bread. The dressing was really the only flavor. Wasn’t the worst, but not the best. For the price… No

I recently tried Goomba’s Pizzeria, and while the food was decent, I don’t think it was worth the price. The pizzas are made from scratch, but that’s pretty standard for most pizzerias, and I didn’t notice anything particularly special about them. If they use fresh ingredients, it didn’t do much to enhance the flavor.

The biggest letdown was the crust—it was extremely dry and crumbled apart while eating. Their marinara sauce lacked flavor, but on a positive note, the ranch was really good.

The atmosphere had a somewhat Italian feel, but the restaurant had a lingering burnt smell, likely from old crust or crumbs left in the oven. They also had two arcade cabinets, but neither was working—maybe just for decoration?

Overall, Goomba’s didn’t stand out for me. It wasn’t terrible, but for the price, I expected better quality and a more enjoyable experience.

Wings were very flavorful and the pizza was delish. Place was well kept and staff was friendly. Plentiful items on the menu so you have a variety of options. Definitely will return. Pricey but worth it.
Edit: New York style pizza so it’s thin, in case it matters.

This was my first time trying this place and I’ve heard such great things about it. The lady at the front is super super sweet and the pizza is more than advertised. Drove all the way from deep stone oak to try and was worth the trip. Will definitely be coming back.

10 Wings – Spicy Lemon Pepper.
Usually, I go for crunchy wings but these wings were so saucy and the meat from the chicken just fell off the bone.

Really great wings for sure.

Thank you to Maria as well, she was a very polite employee!

I’ve been here a few times. Always great pizza. Tonight, my wife, son and I went in to eat. While I was putting our left over pizza in the to go box the heavy side dropped off the stand which was on the table, and on too the floor. Dummy me didn’t think about that happening. A very nice young lady that worked there came over and offered to make a whole new pie for us to go even though it was completely my fault. I can’t say enough about how kind and generous this was of her, especially since I was going to take the rest of the pizza home to my faughter. And as for the other employees, they always have been kind and quick to help with anything. A small gesture goes a long way.

Don’t be fooled by the small place, it is a typical and classic New York style pizza. Cheesy garlic bread and Pizza rolls are made to order from scratch and pizza made at moment of ordering. I’ve dined here for 15 years. Always great. Family owned and run. The best of the ones in town. Prices very reasonable.

First time here. Heard so many great things about this place. Took my first bite and the flavor took me to Peter Piper Pizza, that’s not a bad thing but I expected more. It was…okay.

I hate giving this place 4 stars.

I really respect the quality they use to make their pizzas. I can tell they really care about making fresh pizzas to order, and while I’m not from New York, it’s promoted as New York Style pizza.

We got a little of everything. We got the spinach and ricotta rolls, a salad with ranch, a pepperoni pizza, the Goombas supreme pizza, and a cannoli.

The rolls were really good. The spinach tasted fresh and I went really enjoyed them. The salad was.. meh. Maybe I shouldn’t have picked ranch. I wasn’t crazy about the flavor and it was on.

Now let’s talk about the pizza. I love the little stand son the table that they put the pizza on. It’s a fun presentation. I know they use fresh ingredients and a pizza oven, which you can taste, it the supreme pizza was extremely floppy. The second I picked it up, half of it dipped and toppings fell off. The pepperoni was the opposite. The crust was almost too tough (not crunchy), and it was hard for my son to bite through. The pizza was good, but for my tastes, it just wasn’t great.

The dessert was polarizing. I thought it was really good but my wife disliked it. The bred or crust of the cannolis was really hard. It was hard to cut. But when you chewed it, I loved the flavors. So to me it was really good, but again, my wife was not a fan.

So overall this is a good place. Try it out if you haven’t. For me, it’s just not going to be a “go-to” spot. There’s other pizza I like better.
