Red-sauce classics, pizza & more served up in a casually welcoming, trattoria-style space.

Food and service were outstanding from start to finish. The only downside was the wait, which was a little longer than we’d hoped for—but once the food hit the table, it was clear it was worth it.
We ordered the Extra Cheese Calzone, and it was everything you want in comfort food. The crust was golden, with a slight crisp on the outside and soft, chewy layers inside. The cheese blend was rich and gooey, with that perfect balance of salty and creamy that stretches beautifully with each bite. Every mouthful had that indulgent, melty texture you only get when the cheese-to-crust ratio is spot-on.
The Deluxe Stromboli was equally impressive. The crust had a light crunch that gave way to warm, savory fillings—pepperoni, sausage, peppers, onions, and mushrooms—each ingredient holding its own without overpowering the others. The meats were flavorful and slightly smoky, the veggies fresh and tender, and the seasoning inside tied everything together. Served with their marinara on the side, each dip added a tangy, garlicky punch that made it impossible to stop eating.
Goodfellas delivered big on flavor and quality—worth the wait, and worth coming back for.

Was good! I ordered extra cheese on my meatball sub because normally places are a little skimpy, but this place came through! Bread was good, meatballs were tasty. Will definitely be back, and now I know I can trust them to deliver what I ask for. Oh, and the cheese was so good I was tearing off the extra from the wrapper and eating it straight

The first thing I see and hear when walking in the front door is a server loudly arguing with a cook. The girl that took my order and then brought it to me, was nice.
I then ordered pizza to go. To say it is by far the worst pizza I’ve ever had is not enough. The vegetables were not diced, they were in big chunks. The edges were hard and burned yet the middle of the pie soggy and undercooked. The tomato sauce was just ok, nothing memorable. I’m not sure why this place has so many rave reviews, maybe the owner’s mother is writing them. So it’s back to NSB for good pizza.

So. Yesterday my sister and brother in law had a celebration of life lunch buffet. I know when you have these things, hiccups do arise. But the amount of things that were happening was just too much to ignore and keep quiet. To start when the guests walked in we had the room in the back by the bar. Immediately it was noticeably cold in the room. It was actually 45 degrees. Yes. 45 degrees. We had some elderly individuals there with some children and they were freezing. They actually had to eat with there jackets on. As far as the food. COLD. They had multiple trays of food that only had one sterno underneath. Clearly it was not doing the job due to the fact it was sitting in a 45 degree room. By the time we did leave about 1 1/2 to 2 hours later, it was 54 degrees at 2:32. Clearly unacceptable to say the least. Customer service was also horrible. Before eating, guests did order some drinks, coffee and such and it took a rediculous amount of time to get them. By the time we did serve ourselves we did not see any waitresses or waiters to see if anyone needed any assistance or another round of drinks. Even when most were done, I noticed the plates were being piled in the middle of the table because no one came in to take them away. I also did hear that the staff were making excuses on why things were the way they were. To me. Thats not the answer. People pay good money for a good meal and atmosphere now a days. And to have cold food, a cold room to eat it in and further more horrible customer service then this place is NOT for you. This was the first and last time I will be eating here. As far as the stars are concerned, I had no choice but to leave 1 star, but if it was up to me they would get nothing.

It was 45 degrees in the dining area. So cold I had to wear coat, Scarf, hat and put my husband’s coat on my legs. My feet were freezing. I was wearing a long sleeved shirt and sweater, jeans and tennis shoes with socks. Owner was informed, but he was not proactive about turning the heat on. Too cold to enjoy my food in sub arctic temperatures!

We have always ordered pizza from here to pickup. The pizza has always been delicious and above par. This is the first time we actually sat down in the restaurant and ate their entrees. Portions are huge, almost impossible to finish it all in one sitting. The food is flavorful and delicious. Everything was good. Staff was friendly, and the restaurant has a nice atmosphere. Will definitely be back to try some other things

Today I had a very unpleasant experience at Goodfellas, which recently changed management — and you can definitely notice the difference, unfortunately not in a good way. I went with my family and we were told we had to wait for a table — that was not the problem, we completely understand that. The issue was the way we were spoken to and the fact that we were forced to wait outside, even though we were with a child and it was cold. We explained that it was cold outside and were still told we had to leave. What made it even more frustrating was seeing many empty tables while we were waiting. We used to love this place, but the customer service now leaves a lot to be desired. I hope they improve because it used to be a restaurant we truly enjoyed.

Gave this place a second chance tonight with my grandmother and little one. And once again the food was delicious but the service very poor. The first time we came we had bad service as well but decided give another chance since the food was great. Our waitress was nice but clueless and lost. Won’t say her full name but “K” I believe her name started with. We ordered the meatball appetizer and our meals. Bread came out than waited awhile for my salad and my grandmothers soup waitress was no where to be found and had to track her down cause we had no utensils to even eat the starters with. I asked nicely for silverware and to my surprise instead of saying oh sorry about that said oh yeah I can get it. Also needed a refill reminded her again which happen once more later on. I’m eating my salad and I see our waitress go to another table and try to give them meatballs I figured they ordered them too nope I here them say not ours she goes back to the kitchen . I finally flag her down and say were those suppose to be ours she said oh maybe the tickets got messed up. Brings us the meatballs that are now Luke warm but I wasn’t going to have her remake them it had already taken so long. Then I had to ask for plates. And a few minutes later our food came out didn’t even get to really eat the appetizer took it home. Dinner was delicious, finished and once again nowhere to be found she only had two other tables. She never took any dirty dishes away at any point and having a little one trying to grab everything doesn’t leave much space. Flagged another waitress down who by the way was fabulous I watched her in the background and she was point on wish we had her cause this is two times now bad service. She got us to go containers . Then finally she came over and we paid ready to leave then the most disappointing part of the night happened. I have a stroller and my grandmother has a cane. There was two girls at the pizza podium and one girl at the regular podium and our waitress talking to the pizza maker. Not ONE person offered to hold the door open!? There was no one to be seated no phones were ringing. But as I’m struggling with door the girls say how cute the baby is…. Would asked for a manger didn’t see one once go by. Maybe one day we will try again or wait for that woman who was fabulous.

We just had my mother n law’s memorial. The reservation was from 1pm-4pm. The restaurant was so cold. I understand it was extremely cold outside but restaurant should have been there earlier to warm up restaurant before party of 30 arrive. It was 45 degrees in the room, guests were bundled up in coats, hats, scarves, and gloves, children were freezing. They had to stay bundled up Throughout dinner.. guests were leaving early, they just could take it. Our party was out of there by 3, most guests already left. When we left thermostat never got any higher than 54°. We had a buffet setting. Trays were overfilled with water, so as food was placed in rack water was overflowing all over the floor. They cleaned that up with help from my guests. As they placed food back in water level in rack was still to high overflowing the water again, my son and I were cleaning with the staff, while all guests were watching this disgusting display. After cleaning that up, we notice each tray only had one sterno, my husband brought it to the older woman’s attention, and she argued with him, saying there was only one needed to keep the food warm. At 45* the food needed to be heated, not warmed. Owner had to be called to bring more sternos. Took him 40 minutes to bring them. All food was cold, One of the dishes that we ordered was Penne Alla Vodka, it had large slices of red bell pepper in it and sliced mushrooms, the sauce was thick, not a creamy texture the way it should be served. Guests were complaining they were freezing & food was cold. We had to ask for utensils for serving, cream & sugar for coffee, we ordered a Greek salad and I had to go to the kitchen and ask for the salad dressing. Dinner cutlery, my husband walked out to the main dining area and grabbed some from other tables. We were short dishes and a table that needed to be brought in to our party area for seating the remainder of our guests. Not one plate was cleared from the tables. Dirty dishes everywhere. Very few people were even asked if they would like a second drink, waitress never came back around to our table, and my husband and I were the hosts to this party. We were supposed to have two waitresses for our party, we were told that when we booked it. That didn’t really work out because they’re very short staffed. The same waitresses had to work out in the main dining area for other customers as well she couldn’t keep up, how could she???? We booked this party approximately a month out. The older woman I felt could not handle our party. She told me she didn’t know how to work the thermostat and she was very rude. My guests we’re very upset with her behavior and left our family gathering they were so cold. My husband and I finally did speak with the owner because we just could not take it. Everyone was unhappy and food was cold. They were freezing and wanted to leave. All the owner kept saying was I’m only here a month and I’m thinking what does that have to do with the price of beans. We felt he did not care at all. I even said to him this is a MEMORIAL!!!!! I need a chance to fix things, come back again and i’ll take care of you. My husband and I have been going to this restaurant over 12 years and that’s why we had the memorial there because my mother-in-law loved it. Nobody in our family is ever going back. My mother-in-law’s memorial was a complete disaster. We were very embarrassed. It was an emotional time for us, and it was a horrible experience. While I was waiting for the owner to bring the bill, he walked over to the thermostat and shut it off and left us standing there for another 20 minutes. When the waitress brought bill, the owner took $39 off, in my opinion that’s a slap in the face. The bottom line is if the restaurant couldn’t handle the reservation they should have been upfront and honest. The memorial was ruined and I left in tears.

Lady at the front door was rude, and rolled her eyes. When my mother in law was looking to dine in. Very rude people they have. We will take our buisness somewhere else
*My mother in law had bypass surgery a couple years ago. her stomach is 2 ounces. She barely eats anything. The *drink* is for medical purpose to take her meds. She mostly wanted to take her granddaughter out to lunch to spend time with her. Im speaking on her behalf in hopes that y’all understand the context behind her having the *drink* with her.
