At first I was impressed by how sweet and kind these people are. But then I got the food and HONEY. I had to stop and thank the lord for this phenomenal dinner. Somebody’s grandmama must have given them these recipes. The Mac and cheese is the best in this city. The greens are phenomenal. The RIBS oh my goodness they just fell off the bone and the hot BBQ sauce was so good. The cod almost made me forget Alabama Fish exists. The cornbread was soft and sweet. The potato salad is kinda smashed up like mashed potatoes but the flavor is def there. This is my new favorite restaurant in the city. Thank you for making this amazing dinner. I’m eating it still as I type. Oh! And the carrot cake didn’t disappoint either! You can taste the love in this food.

I’m not from Cincy and was looking for some good soul food. The food was absolutely amazing and the proportions were nice! 10/10! I got the ribs and pork chop dinner (glad they were boneless and I got them smothered). Everything was delicious! The macaroni and sweet potatoes omg!!!! I highly recommend!!! Everything was packaged properly and was still warm even with delivery. I definitely will be placing another order very soon. I even called and had a question about the difference kool-aid flavors and the lady that answered was kind. Definitely give them a try. The pictures do no justice everything was flavorful and homemade.

Decided to try this amazing place on Good Thangz Cookin on my Saturday. I see big things happening for this place! The food is amazing, the staff is friendly and although people try to talk about the area or the set up, the quality is top notch. Don’t sleep on them! The jerk fries are ridiculous, the ribeye sandwich cooked to perfection, the yams are the truth, and the ribs fall off the bone. I will be back again and again!!

I know it does take a minute to get your food, but that’s because everything is fresh and hot and amazing! Never walked away and complained about a single thing. This place strives to deliver the best food in a small atmosphere but nails it every time. I love living down the street from here and just chilling while I wait for my food. The staff is so friendly and personable and making sure they check in with you every single time. I love this place so much, do not hesitate to stop here!

After a long day of driving visiting Cincinnati. I ordered their Cajun pasta and Steak Philly. Cajun pasta noodles were overcooked and drowned in flavorless sauce. My gf philly sandwich had hair in. I would have went back to get my money back but they have a no refund policy. I definitely won’t be going back and recommending it to anyone else. A waste of $28.98

Best darn soul food I have had. I would not lie those are the very best greens I have ever eaten. The Mac and cheese was delicious. And the rib tips fall apart yummy. I couldn’t be happier with my lunch choices and the fantastic help the very very nice lady at check out gave me. Being my first time going there I asked lots of questions. She was very nice I should have gotten here name, very nice black young lady. I let here recommend everything I got and she did fantastic job!!!!

Food is unbelievable good, Might be some of the best Mac and Cheese, mash potatoes that I’ve ever had.. The cod was perfectly cook still juicy on the inside. The apple cobbler was amazing not all sugared up could actually taste all the apples. And the girl at the counter extremely friendly, and helpful, even the guys behind the counter were friendly. If I ould give them 10 stars I would!! I will be back soon and often. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!

Great God Yah! ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING!!! The cheesesteak was cheese steakingly YUMMMY! The Parm Garlic wings were clean and NOT oily! The greens were sweet and delicious. The Mac and sweet potatoes were FLAVORFUL. Not salt flavored at all. WAY BETTER THAN THE CITY BBQ BS and the likes. The homeless guy danced after taking the chocolate cookie that I gave him. THANK YOU FOR FLAVOR, GOOD THANGZ COOKIN.

Gotta support the Hood regardless of what the reviews say! BUT I did try the Mac N Cheese, Greens, Green Beans, and Yams . Kool-aid out of this world!!! Let me tell you though… I have never had a Black Bean Burger in my life but Fam I wish I never start eating beef.
That Black Bean Burger so good I had to stop eating it cuz I start thinking how damn good it tastes compared to meat and I Instantly got mad! I’m going full Vegan after that. GOOD THANGZ Black Bean Burger hit so hard it don’t make no sense!!!!
