Our first time here, and luckily we called and made a reservation, the waiting period was supposed to be 30-40 minutes but it took about an hour to get our table, however, it’s worth the wait! This place is amazing! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and super delicious food! We got the Bird and Bread, the chicken was seasoned very well and so juicy, and tender and the French toast was perfect and the maple aioli and honey complemented the dish! We also got the cinnamon French toast, and kid’s pancakes which were delicious! My only complaint is our waitress didn’t get us silverware and was busy so we had to go hunt for some ourselves, and we didn’t get syrup with my kid’s pancakes, that’s why the 4 service star! For our drinks, we ordered Good Screw, liked it, HOWEVER, If you guys love espresso, then you MUST try the Midnight Sun, it’s TO DIE FOR!

What a delightful hidden gem. Easily the best restaurant in the area. We discovered this place earlier this year after coming to Burlington a number of times.
The entire menu is carefully thought out by ownership and staff. Everything is bursting with flavor and cooked to perfection. I’m mostly enthralled with the bar and drinks selection. The most basic of classic cocktails are done excellently, and their seasonal and signature menu are fun and adventurous!
Service has always been great. Definitely make it a priority to make it here.

My bf and I had a great experience celebrating his birthday here after his 85 miles RAGBRI bike ride. I ordered the Green Thai Curry and really enjoyed it and ate it until last bite. My bf ordered NY steak strip, loaded Brussels, and Cesar salad. He enjoyed all of his food and similarly ate until last bite. In my call to arrange our reservation I asked them if they could bring us the pastry with Happy Birthday glazing and they followed the instructions. Our server mentioned this restaurant is the oldest building in Burlington. The experience was amazing and right near Mississippi River across border of Iowa and Illinois.

The Good Restaurant would see me every week if I lived nearby! We enjoyed our time here, and explored (almost) all of the building. The upstairs an area for lounging and board games and the downstairs is for dining. We went on a Saturday and made reservations ahead of time (recommended) for 5pm when it opened. Our waitress was fantastic! She was friendly, quick and attentive. The food was 10/10 delightful tase. The only part which disappointed us is the food was not as warm as one would expect, it was more of luke warm. The portions for food are smaller, but the ticket wasn’t as much as I thought it would be either so I was delighted with that. I can’t wait to come back and bring more of my family! P.S. the cosmo drink is fantastic. P.S.S if you’re a in a group coming here, please respect the other patrons around you and your noise level.

9 months I’ve been going here and still a 5 star! I have to admit that I come for the views. This restaurant decor is to die for!! It’s so beautiful and modern, yet still embraces the history of the home it is located in. The food is unique and delicious, I just wish portions were a little bit bigger…because it’s so GOOD!

Such a great place for date night! We made reservations for 5:30 and got there a little early and were seated right away. Our server was attentive and friendly! The food and drinks were creative and delicious. I’m so sad to see that Good is closing but I hope to come back many more times before they do.

While the food and drinks at GOOD are incredible and unique, what comes to my mind most during every visit to GOOD are the MEMORIES made in this perfectly renovated stone home! Whether you are looking to celebrate a birthday, anniversary, have an intimate dining experience in the Atlas room, or a game night in the upstairs lounge there is something for everyone here!

Well, what can I say. I’m not a cuisine foodie but I know I like flavor. My wife and I had heard good things about GOOD. She however did have a so so experience with their lunch time/breakfast menu meal when out with a friend. While she and I had dinner this evening. We arrived just as the restaurant opened and were seated in a few minutes. The server arrived ten minutes later and dropped off menus. After a bit we had our choices and waited for Natalie N to arrive. We gave our drink orders and she began to walk away when we had to stop her as we had decided on our meals too. We waited for our meals to arrive and when they did it was seldom that we were checked on until we were nearly finished. My simple soda was just that. Ordered sprite and it was mostly carbonated water. The peach tea that my wife ordered had almost no flavor. The food wasn’t any better. My Tomahawk chop was saved from bland land by the mushroom sauce. While my wife’s Infamous Bowl was tasty at least. I was not impressed. Across the board it was sub par. We won’t be dining there again if it’s our choice. Hopefully others find it absolutely fabulous.

The options for kids and vegetarians are limited, but we all found food we wanted and it was the best version of that thing we had ever eaten. The 9 year old gave big compliments about the chicken tenders!
Also, the cocktails were wonderful!
After dinner we went to the lounge and played in the ball pit! There was a group of adults playing board games and that looked really fun for a future visit. Already looking forward to coming back!
