If you haven’t been, be sure to go! A small group of friends stopped here for lunch and experienced some good African grub. I had the beans and rice with tender goat meat, sauteed and seasoned cabbage, and fried plantains, which were all extremely flavorful. Portions are large. My pineapple ginger soda was also delicious. Others enjoyed their meals of okra stew with fufu and spinach/bean stew with goat meat and jasmine rice. The owner and service were delightful and excellent, respectively, making it a great addition to Williamsport.

Owner/chef is friendly and welcoming. Space is clean and bright, individual tables and counter seats. Limited menu. The whole red snapper is cooked in a wok and is delicious. Comes with rice was good as was the side of plantains and the cabbage. We had a peanut soup with fufu. It was delicious. She said it was just a little spicy but it was at the edge of what is pleasant for me and too spicy for my partner. So know your spiciness level!! Several people wanted the oxtail. There’s also chicken and sometime shrimp ( but not when we were there). Be patient. She’s doing the cooking herself right there.

AMAZING FOOD! Stop here if ever in the area. No joke. The Jollof rice is so flavorful, the ox tail is authentic and soooo tender. Goat curry is amazing too. We are from NW PA and travelled over for a trip, definitely sooo worth it.

Absolutely loved my experience at Good Grace African Market. The spinach and beans stew with jasmine rice was bursting with authentic, rich flavors that made every bite memorable. The fried plantains were perfectly caramelized on the outside and soft on the inside. And the oxtails? Cooked to perfection, tender, and seasoned just right. This spot is a hidden gem. Highly recommend if you’re looking to try something different and truly delicious!

The Good Grace African restaurant was definitely an experience and I will be returning to try more of what is on the menu. The chef was very welcoming and very kind, not to mention, a heck of a cook. The cabbage and rice that comes with your meal was absolutely delicious. I’ve always wanted to try fufu and it did not disappoint. My fiance got the oxtail dish and it fell right off the bone, as did the chicken I got. Every bite was full of a blast of seasoned greatness. If you’re up for a hearty and tasty meal, check this place out. I’m telling you, it will not disappoint.

I ordered the oxtail which is one of my favorite dishes. It was hands down the best oxtail I’ve ever had. My meal came with Jollof rice and beans and was so flavorful and filling. I will be back very soon. Also I went with two other people that got the fish and they also loved everything. So grateful for this new flavor and cuisine being in Williamsport.

I got the fufu & oxtail egusi soooo good. I’ve been waiting for some good food being out here & this is it. I love the spice to it & the tender oxtails. This one is different compared to the others I’ve had in a good way. The lovely lady at the front was nice & had good energy.
